A huge thank you to Braided River Vets for their kind donation to the Darfield Toy Library, which we have put towards purchasing our new toy farm yard!

Being a rural community, we know this will be a much-loved addition to our Toy Library. The open-ended farm yard gives children the freedom to create their own farm setups, use their imaginations and enjoy plenty of hands-on farm play with the animals and machinery in our collection.

Braided River Vets provides veterinary services to our local community, caring for both large and small animals. We are very grateful to have the support of a local business that plays such an important role in our rural community. If you’re looking for veterinary care, be sure to check out Braided River Vets and support the businesses that support us!

If you or your business are interested in sponsoring a toy at the Toy Library, please get in touch by emailing [email protected].

And if you would like to join the Darfield Toy Library, come along to one of our Saturday sessions at the Darfield Plunket Rooms to have a look at what we have available and find out more.

Save the Date – Hororata Games Bake Sale!

Each year we hold a bake sale at the Hororata Games, so pop the date in your diary!

We’ll be looking for baking donations and volunteers to help with set-up, manning the stall and pack-down.

More details to come closer to the day. We’d love your support!
