Bluff Hill Motupōhue Environment Trust will be spraying wilding pines using a drone this Friday 15 May.

Some of the walking and mountain bike trails on the hill will be closed for the day - the full list is on our website.

There will be a 10-metre no-spray buffer around waterways and the drone will not fly over private land.

Wilding pines are a serious issue for the local natural environment, hindering the growth of other plant species that provide food and habitat for our native birds and animals.

Thank you for your understanding as this important work is carried out to help protect the natural environment at Motupōhue Bluff Hill.
