We had an awesome time with the tamariki at Glenbrae School learning how to cross the road safely, make smart decisions, and remember to STOP, LOOK & LISTEN before crossing.

The tamariki were absolute superstars and did so well! We’ll be back in two weeks to hear their road safety chant and celebrate their mahi with some well-deserved awards.

Ka pai, Glenbrae! We can’t wait to see you again!

We had the privilege of joining Ruapotaka School for their final Road Safety Awards Day.

The tamariki made amazing posters, created chants full of mana and showed us they have what it takes to be a Road Safety Superstar!

It was extra special being part of their awards day and making our first campaign one to remember.

Huge thank you to Ruapotaka School for having us!

Join us this Sunday for our Open Home Day, right in the middle of Torino Street in Pt. England. We will be there from 12pm-2pm with our build partners Constructa and Signature Construction.

There are beautiful homes at both sites, PN-14 & PN-15 we'd love to share with you.

To celebrate this milestone, our build partners have joined us bringing along Mr. Whippy, Natalia's Food Journey, The Coffee Guy and a live acoustic set from local talent from Tamaki College Music! See you there!

Kat Falepau felt a deep pull from the whenua and yearning to be closer to her whānau. She had travelled and lived in different places around the world, but nowhere compared to the feeling of being home in Tāmaki.

Through the OWN IT programme, Kat was able to answer that call.

Coming home was a return to whakapapa and belonging, a feeling that the time was right, and that she was exactly where she was meant to be.

Paslode NZ has generously donated nail guns to the Tāmaki Trades Academy to help support the practical learning taking place at the school.

They presented fun interactive Tool Safety Training to the students beforehand, and introduced them to the modern tools used across the construction industry today.

Students learned about general site safety, safe tool operation, maintenance and care, before getting hands-on experience using the nail guns under expert guidance. A fun safety game kept everyone engaged, and the day wrapped up with a well-earned BBQ.

A huge thank you to Constructa and Carters for the continued support with creating these connections and Paslode for getting behind the kaupapa and investing in the future of these young people.

The Coffee with a Cop morning was a great opportunity to connect with local businesses, community organisations, and police for some open kōrero about keeping Tāmaki safe.

Hosted by the Glen Innes Business Association, the event was attended by businesses and organisations from across the town centre.

There was plenty of valuable discussions around community safety, building relationships, and working together to address local concerns.

Thank you to Merchants Espresso and Eatery for hosting the catchup, and to those who attended and shared their insights. We look forward to continuing to work closely to help strengthen the community.

Follow the Glen Innes Village page to keep an eye out for the next Coffee with a Cop session.

Thanks for having us Ruapotaka School!

The students embraced every activity with excitement and a positive attitude, and it was great to see them having fun while learning important road safety skills through our Stop, Look, Listen activities.

A big thank you to the staff and school community for welcoming us and for recognising the importance of working together to keep our tamariki safe.

This weekend, the Tāmaki Regeneration team and Precision Construction were privileged to open the doors of some of the developments the team at Precision having been working so hard on.

It was chance for the community of Tāmaki to see the beautiful homes, celebrate the work of our partners and get excited about what’s to come for the whanau that will one day call this home.

This is one of many, and we can’t wait to show more – watch this space!
