The HEART Movement has announced their Mana Wāhine Symposium event for 2026!

They hosted over 500 wāhine in 2025, and this year, they're returning to host a two day symposium of amazing kōrero and connection from October 30th - 31st.

This year's theme is TE AO ME TE PŌ - the duality of women, of life, of the world🌙✨

Join us at the next Tāmaki Community Day!

We welcome you to a fun and informative event as we share details about upcoming projects in the area.

Free kai (hot chips, tacos, mini donuts), refreshments, face painting, bouncy castle and fun activities for the entire whānau!

We'll have our friends from Mahi Mai Tāmaki (Jobs and Skills), Auckland Council, Precision Construction Ltd, Signature Construction Ltd, NZ Strong and Auckland Transport partnering with us on the day.

As Tāmaki continues to grow, we’re building homes with thoughtful outdoor spaces designed to encourage connection between whānau, neighbours and the wider community.

We’re proud of the care and consideration that goes into creating these shared spaces, places for neighbours to meet, connect and enjoy as the neighbourhood grows around them.

With a shared focus to support students as they consider their next steps beyond college, it was awesome to see so many organisations come together at the recent Tamaki College School Expo.

Whether that’s further study, training, employment or exploring different career pathways, we enjoyed connecting with others who are invested in the future of local rangatahi.

Thank you Tāmaki College for inviting our Mahi Mai Tāmaki team along and for bringing everyone together at this great event.

OPEN NOW 🎯 Our grants of up to $5,000 are open for application now. All active community leaders in the Tāmaki area (Panmure, Glen Innes, Point England in Auckland) are invited to apply. Our goal is to continue driving positive change in our neighbourhoods. 
 
Grants are available for organisations that provide activities or opportunities for the Tāmaki community that align with the following areas: 
 
• Te Taiao: Restoring and enhancing the natural environment of Tāmaki
• Social Innovation: Uplifting Tāmaki potential through entrepreneurial social action
• Opportunities for whānau: Providing social and economic avenues for Tāmaki whānau to grow and succeed
