Fashion designer and creative force KIRI NATHAN has returned to her old stomping ground with a vision that looks to the future.

Working alongside Tāmaki Regeneration, she is helping to bring to life an arts and fashion precinct that celebrates culture and creativity in the heart of Glen Innes.

The space will provide a dedicated space for creativity, connection and opportunity for emerging artists, while keeping the spirit of GI at the forefront.

For Kiri, this latest chapter is grounded in whakapapa and community - a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful journeys lead you right back home.

Catch her ode to GI in the latest edition of Mai Tāmaki magazine out now.

Amanda is passionate about supporting local businesses, and brings experience in communications, community engagement, and town centre management from her former role as Onehunga town manager.

Her current focus is strengthening Panmure’s online presence, and connecting new residents with the people and places that make the area unique.

"I am incredibly excited to bring a fresh lens to how we promote Panmure. I'm feeling energised about partnering with Tāmaki Regeneration to ensure residents know what Panmure has to offer as their local shopping precinct."

Amanda is excited about the latest project launching this weekend - Panmure’s Global Kitchen event, which will showcase the town centre’s rich cultural diversity through food and community experiences.

Tāmaki Trades Academy students recently had the opportunity to learn alongside industry professionals thanks to the ongoing support of Ben from Constructa, who was able to connect the school with Metalcraft Roofing and local roofer Joel.

Students learnt roofing techniques and gained valuable insight into what it takes to succeed in the trade.

Head of Tāmaki Trades Academy, Richard Huddleston, was pleased with the hands-on learning taking place and hopes these type of connections will grow more opportunities for future partnerships.
