Langimalie Services are run by the Tongan Health Society in New Zealand. Tongan Health Society is a non-profit organisation that runs a range of services under the Langimalie brand.

As Platinum Sponsor of the RNZCGP Conference, Tongan Health Society was proud to share our story with health professionals from across Aotearoa.

Our conference video, shown ahead of the keynote address, showcased Tongan Health’s integrated, culturally grounded approach to care. Dr Glenn Doherty was then joined by team members to share a Tongan song. Many attendees told us it lifted the spirit of the conference.

Our Annual Report wins at the Australasian Reporting Awards

This year, our Annual Report was submitted to this prestigious awards programme.

The report and cover were entered in the not-for-profit sector, with the cover winning Best Cover Design.

The Judges commented that:

“The cover features a beautifully executed graphic that conveys a strong, embedded meaning clearly articulated on the inside front cover:

“‘When all hands work together, the future is transformed.’ Use of a graphic approach, rather than photography, provides a distinctive, memorable quality. The complementary colour palette is both confident and refined. The results are thoughtful and distinctive front and back covers with broad stakeholder appeal, and a publication that feels considered from beginning to end.’

The awards attract entries from Australia, Asia, and New Zealand. Major corporates are well represented, and we can be proud that we stand out among such competition.

Pacific capability in action!

Through a partnership with the Pacific Cooperation Foundation, interns at Tongan Health Society gained hands-on experience in a community-led health setting. Building skills, confidence, and strong cultural connections. With real outcomes already achieved, including employment and pathways into further study, this highlights the impact of investing in Pacific talent and leadership.
