📢Safe Girls Project Update: The SAFE Girls Project successfully organized Palika-level workshops across 8 municipalities (Gaur Rajpur, Paroha, Yamunamai & Dewahigonahi-Rautahat district, Basbariya, Haripurwa & Kaudena-Sarlahi district), engaging religious and community leaders to raise awareness and foster collective action towards ending child marriage and harmful practices. These interactive sessions were conducted with Pandits, Maulana, and community leaders repesentatives, to discuss the legal, social, and health consequences of child marriage and the importance of promoting gender equality and SRHR.

(The Safe Girls Project is technically and financially supported by KOICA, UNFPA and implemented by Good Neighbors International Nepal and RDC Nepal.)

The final match of the Municipal Level Girls' Football Mayor Cup at Chandrapur Municipality ended with incredible excitement, thrill, and sportsmanship.

This tournament was organized under the Accelerating Actions to Reduce Gender Based Violence project – implemented by Rural Development Centre Nepal, technical support by Islamic Relief Nepal and funded by Islamic Relief Canada.

Every goal, every tackle, and every cheer today was a powerful statement:
Sport is a force against gender-based violence.

📢SAFE Girls Project: A five-day training on “Adolescent-Friendly Health Services and Mental Health & Psychosocial Support Resource Mapping for Service Providers” has started in Chandranigahapur, Rautahat under the SAFE Girls Project (Safe and Enabling Environment for Adolescent Girls and Young Women).

The training brings together community psychosocial workers, health workers, and mentors from Gaur, Rajpur, Paroha, Yamunamai, and Dewahi Gonahi municipalities of Rautahat. It focuses on strengthening adolescent-friendly health service delivery, mental health, and psychosocial support.

📢Safe Girls Project Update: Successfully completed District-Level Workshop for Health Service Providers and Community Stakeholders to Enhance Adolescent-Friendly Health Services (AFHS) Capacity and Community/School Outreach at Sarlahi.

Health service providers, CSE teachers, Mentors, CPSWs, and local government representatives (Gender Focal Persons) from the palikas of Sarlahi District (Basbariya, Haripurwa and Kaudena) came together to enhance their support on promoting AFHS, coordination and interlinkages, improve adolescent mental health support, and strengthen GBV identification and referral systems.
