Faecare Foundation FAECARE Is a nonprofit charity organization for vulnerable groups in our society: Children (OVCs), Youths, Persons with disability, the less privileged.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To enhance the wellbeing of children, youths, women and persons living with disability
2. Social inclusion and empowerment of target vulnerable groups
3. To assist and provide support and services : education, nutrition, psychosocial support, h

ealth to the less privileged
4. To advocate for better life policies for these vulnerable groups
5. To create a platform of expression for children, youths and persons living with disability

LEARNING, CREATIVITY & FUN ALL IN ONE DAY!

Another beautiful day at FAECARE Foundation’s Kids Holiday Club, Mgbuesilaru Center!

Today, the children had a wonderful mix of learning, storytelling, creativity and life-skill activities. From listening and learning to expressing themselves through art, colouring and painting, there was something exciting for every child.

And of course, sign language 🤟🏽 brought everyone together, giving the children an opportunity to learn a new way of communicating and connecting with others.

It was a day filled with curiosity, concentration, creativity, laughter and lots of learning!

At FAECARE, we believe children can learn, play, create and grow at the same time.

Another exciting day at FAECARE Foundation’s Kids Holiday Club, Mgbuesilaru Center 💃💃💃

Today, our children explored different topics and enjoyed engaging learning activities, but the fun didn’t stop there!

They also got creative and hands-on as they learned how to make beautiful BOW TIES and HAIRBANDS.

It was an exciting day filled with learning and creativity today.

From word search puzzles to drawing and to colouring and other engaging lessons, the children had the opportunity to think, explore, create and learn while having fun.

Our children are not just having fun, they are learning, listening, and soaking up every bit of the lesson.

Look at how deeply they are immersed in the story, carefully listening and taking notes! Their concentration shows just how much they are enjoying the learning experience.

We are happy to see our children learning, growing, and making beautiful memories together this holiday.

When Learning Becomes Inclusion 🤟🏽💜

At the FAECARE Kids Holiday Club, we introduced the children to something new: Sign Language! 🤟🏽

Not just as a lesson, but as a fun way to discover that communication comes in different forms.

We wanted the children to understand that there may be other children who cannot hear them, but they can still communicate, connect, play, learn and build friendships with them.

From learning the alphabet, to forming simple words, to having mini conversations, something beautiful happened, the children became curious, engaged and excited to learn more.

What started as a fun activity has sparked a long-term interest in learning Sign Language.

And that is exactly what inclusion should look like:
Learning. Understanding. Connecting. Belonging.

Through fun learning, we are raising children who understand that different ways of communicating do not mean different worth.

At FAECARE, we believe disability sensitization can and should begin early. 💜

Every child deserves to be understood. Every child deserves to belong.

The fun, learning and creativity continue next week!

FAECARE Kids Holiday Club is moving to Rumuodara Mgbuesilaru Community for another exciting week of learning, creativity, practical skills, games and fun!

Date: Monday, 17th – Friday, 21st August 2026
9:00am – 2:00pm daily
Venue: Glorious Covenant Church, No. 25 Nvuike Road, by Command Junction, Rumuodara Mgbuesilaru Community, Port Harcourt.

Today, we are bringing our Rumuomasi Kids Holiday Club to a delicious close!

For our final day, the children are rounding off the programme with exciting practical cooking skills — learning how to make stew and puff-puff!

We are grateful for the smiles, the enthusiasm, the new skills and the wonderful memories created throughout the week.

The FAECARE Kids Holiday Club has been a wonderful blend of creativity, fun, practical skills and brain-boosting learning.

From painting and colouring, to interactive lessons and note-taking, our children have been busy exploring new ideas and discovering what they can do.

But it's not all about sitting in a classroom. The children are also making new friends, expressing themselves, asking questions, thinking creatively and learning from one another.

At FAECARE, we believe children can learn and have fun at the same time—and that's exactly what we're creating at the Kids Holiday Club!

Who says learning has to be boring?

Our young designers were all ears as they learned the steps involved in making a pencil skirt. Then came the exciting part, putting the lesson into practice!

With focus, curiosity and lots of enthusiasm, they transformed what they learned into a hands-on experience.

This is what we love about FAECARE Kids Holiday Club. Children are not just learning; they are discovering what they can do!
