Faecare Foundation FAECARE Is a nonprofit charity organization for vulnerable groups in our society: Children (OVCs), Youths, Persons with disability, the less privileged.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To enhance the wellbeing of children, youths, women and persons living with disability
2. Social inclusion and empowerment of target vulnerable groups
3. To assist and provide support and services : education, nutrition, psychosocial support, health to the less privileged
4. To advocate for better life policies for these vulnerable groups
5. To create a platform of expression for children, youths and persons living with disability

FAECARE core thematic areas to reach out to these vulnerable groups are:
Education
Nutrition
Health
Social inclusion and empowerment
Rehabilitation
Capacity building
Socio-economic development. we do these in diverse ways:

Children's Charity Concert (Purple)
Community and neighborhood reach out programs
OVC (Orphans & Vulnerable Children) program
Counseling
Support group for Persons with Disability (PWDs)

Invest in Peace: For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day

Today, FAECARE Foundation joins the world in commemorating the International Day of Peace.

Peace is built through our everyday choices; how we speak, how we treat others, how we respond to conflict, and how we protect those around us.

OUR ACTION PLAN FOR PEACE:

* ‌Communicate with respect: Listen, speak kindly, and disagree without insults or humiliation.

* ‌Choose peaceful solutions: Do not fuel conflict. Encourage dialogue, understanding, and cooperation.

* ‌Speak up against harm: Stand against bullying, harassment, abuse, exploitation, and violence. Support those affected and report concerns safely.

* ‌Promote inclusion: Respect differences and create spaces where everyone, including children, young people and persons with disabilities, can participate safely.

* ‌Be a peace builder: Volunteer, support your community, help others, and use your voice and actions to create positive change.

OUR COMMITMENT:

At FAECARE Foundation, we believe that building peaceful communities requires everyday action. We remain committed to creating spaces where people can participate, speak up, feel safe, and contribute to positive change.

Today, we challenge each of us to ask:

What will I do today to make my home, school, workplace, online space, or community more peaceful?

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY 2026 💃💃💃

THEME: “Literacy for People, the Planet and Prosperity”

Literacy is more than the ability to read and write. It gives children the confidence to learn, helps young people access opportunities, enables individuals to make informed decisions, and empowers communities to participate meaningfully in society.

Today, FAECARE Foundation joins the global community in commemorating International Literacy Day and reaffirming that literacy is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for transforming lives and communities.

Millions of children, young people and adults around the world continue to face barriers to literacy and quality education. This reminds us that achieving literacy for all requires more than celebration, it requires action, commitment and collective responsibility.

The theme, “Literacy for People, the Planet and Prosperity,” calls on us to recognize literacy as a foundation for inclusive communities, sustainable development and greater opportunities for individuals and families.

At FAECARE Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential, regardless of their circumstances or abilities.

OUR CALL TO ACTION:
Let us all play our part in building a more literate society.
* Donate books or learning materials to children who need them.
* Support children who are struggling with reading and learning.
* Encourage inclusive and quality education in our communities.
