The Esteemed Hub Foundation took the programme to Gwada Community, Shiroro LGA, Niger State. What you're watching unfolded in real time — health screenings, hands receiving farming tools, women holding bags of clothing, and a room full of girls who sat up a little straighter by the end of the day.

June 19 is the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in Conflict — a day the world pauses to acknowledge one of the most devastating weapons of war: the violation of women and girls' bodies.

At Esteemed Hub Foundation, we don't just observe this day. We live this work in every community where women have been silenced, harmed, and forgotten.

Sexual violence in conflict is not a side effect of war. It is a weapon. And it must be named, condemned, and ended.

We RISE FOR JUSTICE — for every survivor whose story the world didn't hear. For every woman who deserved protection and got none.

26 years ago, Nigerians went to the polls and chose democracy. Today, we honour that choice — and recommit to making it mean something for every citizen, especially those whose voices are too often left out of the room.

Democracy is not just about elections. It is about the woman who deserves a seat at the table where decisions about her community are made. It is about the girl-child who should grow up knowing her voice matters. It is about peace, justice, and leadership that truly serves the people.

The data has spoken. And the right people were in the room to hear it.

The Esteemed Hub Foundation convened the RISE4WOMEN Baseline Study Dissemination Meeting at the SDG Office, Minna and the room was filled with the institutions that hold the power to drive real change.

Our Executive Director, Princess Doosugh Agbadu-Adu, ( ) presented the Baseline Assessment & Stakeholders Mapping Report on Emergency Preparedness for Climate Disaster Management — findings drawn directly from communities in Gwada and Zumba Kwata, Shiroro LGA.

A key highlight was our Disaster Preparedness Stakeholder Mapping exercise, where participants collaboratively identified vulnerabilities, gaps, and coordinated response pathways for climate emergencies.

Healthy food is not a luxury — it is a right.

Today, on World Food Safety Day, we are drawing attention to something that affects every single one of us, every single day: what we eat, how it is grown, handled, and prepared — and whether it is truly safe for our bodies and our communities.

Unsafe food causes millions of illnesses and deaths globally every year. And as always, it is the most vulnerable — women, children, and low-income communities — who are hit hardest.

At Esteemed Hub Foundation, we believe food security and food safety are part of the larger conversation around community wellbeing, climate resilience, and gender equity.

Healthy food is always a mood. Let's protect it.

Today, on World Environment Day, we are reminded that every tree is cut down, every river polluted, and every community displaced by flooding is a wound in the future we are building together.

We see it up close — farmlands shrinking, floods displacing families, and women bearing the heaviest burden of environmental degradation.

We didn't just plant trees. We planted hope.

Months ago, we got our hands dirty alongside students, teachers, and community stakeholders for the unveiling of our Climate Justice Park (Green Pack) Initiative — and the roots are still growing.

In partnership with Education as a Vaccine ( ), Esteemed Hub Foundation brought climate justice to life — not in a classroom, not in a conference room — but in the soil.

Every sapling planted was a promise. A commitment to a healthier ecosystem, a fairer world, and a generation of young people who understand that they are the climate solution.
