Today's Democracy Day but one question to ask ourselves. Are we truly living in a democratic world or a life of slavery where the poor are pawns for the powerful to use in achieving their selfish interests, our lives matter nothing to them which is why we are dying daily and nobody cares.
Faith without Action is useless, get your PVC and exercise your civic responsibility cos with your PVC in hand vote wisely of not signup for a more harder and painful suffering again, let's vote wisely not based on tribalism or culture, nt based on he's related to me but for the goo of all, let's vote for Accountability and Peace, True leadership and not dictatorship, let's vote for the right leaders

Mentorship Support Outreach Network Initiative on the 28th May 2026 held a health talk at School for the Gifted and Talented Makurdi in celebrating the WORLD MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY with the theme: Together for a .

this was carried out in collaboration with
Julebrama Women and Children Initiative (JUWACI) - The Victoria show project: Red without shame initiative.

It was graced by the presence of the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare who was represented by Mrs. Ibya Doofan Faith bringing Goodwill message for the Honorable Commissioner to observe the activities. Also in attendance were our partners: Mr. Atsumbaga Kator (Atsumbaga Medical Outreach Foundation, Ln. Kelechi Peace Agir-Ajuaniwe (Heritage Lions Club Makurdi), Cyril Terngu Daudu (Hope Impact Initiative). being hosted by the School health mistress Mrs. Akende Cynthia Nguavese and the school's Vice Principal Academics.

Miss Lizzy Shiaondo - CEO DOLISH delivered the 1st health talk on the theme for the day Together for a Period Friendly World where the students learnt alot on how to keep themselves clean during their menstruation and also entrepreneur skills they can learn to earn a source of income to get some of their basic needs.

Miss Kwaghdoo Daudu - Safeguarding Gender Officer JUWACI delivered the 2nd talk on the topic Red without shame initiative where she taught the students on the basic steps to take while on their periods and neglect any form of shyness and booing amongst their class mates, but seek for attention from the health mistress abd advocates whenever emergencies occurs.

The MSON Initiative went further on inducting 15 health advocates in the school who will act as our change makers and also be incharge of the pad bank that has newly been created making sure students (girls) have access to pads at all time, this will act as our sustainable plan in ending menstrual poverty
