International Day of Non-Violence 2026

Today, DWAC Foundation joins the world in commemorating the International Day of Non-Violence, a day that reminds us of the power of peace, dialogue, compassion, and peaceful action in building a better society.

Under this year’s theme, “Advancing Peace and Dialogue and Non-Violence as a Means to Peace and Development,” we are reminded that lasting development cannot thrive where violence, hatred, discrimination, and intolerance exist.

At DWAC Foundation, we believe that every individual has a role to play in creating a peaceful community. We encourage open dialogue, mutual respect, understanding, and peaceful resolution of conflicts.

HAPPY 66TH INDEPENDENCE DAY, NIGERIA!

Today, we proudly celebrate 66 years of Nigeria’s independence—66 years of resilience, diversity, strength, hope, and the unbreakable spirit of our people.

Independence is not only about looking back at our journey; it is also about looking ahead with renewed commitment to building a nation where every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity, access quality healthcare, receive education, develop valuable skills, and achieve their full potential.

At DWAC Foundation, we believe that nation-building begins within our communities. Every child empowered, every young person equipped with skills, every woman supported, every vulnerable person reached, and every community strengthened brings us closer to the Nigeria we envision.

A DAY OF IMPACT AT COMMUNITY LGEA GANMO SCHOOL A & B

The journey of impact continued in Ganmo, Ifelodun Local Government Area, as the DWAC Foundation Sponsor a Child Initiative reached children at Community LGEA Ganmo School A & B.

It was a beautiful day filled with smiles, excitement, and meaningful connections as we shared school bags and essential school items, including pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, water bottles, and socks.

Beyond the items we gave, we hope every child was reminded of something even more important: you are seen, you are valued, and your education matters.

We sincerely appreciate the school authorities and community for their warm welcome, cooperation, and support. And to our incredible donors and volunteers, thank you for giving your resources, time, energy, and heart to this cause.

Our time in Offa was filled with beautiful moments as we connected with children and supported them through the DWAC Foundation Sponsor a Child Initiative.

From school bags to essential learning items — pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, water bottles, and socks. every gift was shared with one purpose: to support these children and encourage them on their educational journey.

🎒 A DAY OF IMPACT IN LADE, PATIGI LGA

Yesterday, DWAC Foundation Sponsor a Child Initiative continues its journey of reaching children and supporting education across our communities.

This time, we took the message of hope, care, and opportunity to Lade Community in Patigi Local Government Area.

We shared school bags and essential school items, including pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, water bottles, and socks, bringing smiles and excitement to the children.

From the warm reception to the beautiful smiles and joyful moments, Lade reminded us once again that every child deserves to feel supported and encouraged in their educational journey.

We are grateful to the community and school authorities for welcoming us, and to our amazing DWAC volunteers whose dedication, time, and commitment continue to drive this mission.

This is more than a school bag.
It is support. It is encouragement. It is hope. It is a step towards a brighter future.
