Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, we proudly reflect on one of our impactful outreach projects the Pad-Up Initiative by DWAC Foundation.

Through this project, we were able to reach out to young girls, educate them on menstrual hygiene, break harmful stigmas, and provide sanitary pads to support their health, confidence, and dignity.

Menstruation is natural, and no girl should ever feel ashamed, unsafe, or limited because of her period. Access to proper menstrual hygiene is not a luxury it is a necessity.

As we commemorate this day, we reaffirm our commitment to girl child empowerment, health advocacy, and creating safe spaces where every young girl can thrive without discrimination or embarrassment.

Together, we can end period poverty and normalize conversations around menstrual health.

Happy Children’s Day to every child across Nigeria and beyond.

Today, we celebrate the dreams, innocence, brilliance, and limitless potential of our children, the future leaders, innovators, and hope of our nation.

At the DWAC Foundation, we believe every child deserves love, protection, quality education, good health, and the opportunity to grow in a safe and peaceful environment.

As we celebrate this special day and the season of Eid Mubarak, our hearts remain heavy for the innocent pupils kidnapped in Ogbomoso, who should be with their families sharing joy and laughter, but are instead away from home in fear and uncertainty.

We pray for their safety, strength, and immediate rescue.
May God comfort their parents and families during this painful period.

We also raise our collective voice to the government and all relevant security agencies to intensify efforts and ensure these children are brought back home safely and unharmed. Every child deserves protection. Every child matters.

To all children:
Keep dreaming. Keep shining. The world is brighter because of you.

Today, we look back with gratitude on our 2024 Food for Hope Outreach a moment of compassion, service, and community impact.

Through the support of our volunteers, partners, and donors, we were able to put smiles on faces, provide relief to families, and remind many people that they are not alone. Every food package shared was more than a meal; it was a message of hope, love, and humanity.

As we reflect on this impactful outreach, we remain committed to continuing our mission of reaching underserved communities and leaving indelible footprints in the sands of time.
