Building a digital future requires more than innovation, it requires dialogue, inclusion, and shared learning.

At the exhibition, our Executive Director, Mr. Abdukareem Abdullateef, shared insights on the importance of ethical technology, digital inclusion, and intentional innovation in driving sustainable impact and expanding opportunities for communities.

Through conversations like these, we continue to shape a future where innovation is accessible, responsible, and beneficial to all.

As Nigeria advances toward a digital-first future, an important question remains: Who gets included, and who gets left behind? Millions of young people still face barriers to accessing opportunities created by artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.

Our latest policy brief, Data Inequality and Digital Inclusion, explores the impact of digital inequality and highlights practical recommendations for building a more inclusive future for all.

Every child deserves the right to learn, grow, play, and dream without the burden of child labour.

On this World Day Against Child Labour, we join the global movement to protect children from exploitation and promote a future where every child has access to education, safety, and opportunities to thrive.

Together, we can advocate for fair opportunities for children and decent work for adults.

Democracy is more than a system of governance; it is a commitment to the voices, rights, and participation of the people. 🇳🇬

Today, we celebrate the power of the people and the values that sustain democracy.

On this Democracy Day, let us reflect on the principles that strengthen our nation and renew our commitment to good governance, national development, and building a safer, more inclusive future for all.

Safe food is a foundation for health, dignity, and resilience. In many communities across Nigeria, insecurity, displacement, and economic hardship continue to increase vulnerability to hunger and malnutrition. At the same time, unsafe food poses serious risks to public health, particularly for children, pregnant women, and other vulnerable groups.

This World Food Safety Day, let us recognize that achieving food security is not only about producing enough food, but also ensuring that the food available is safe, nutritious, and accessible to all.

Together, we can strengthen food systems, reduce preventable illnesses, combat malnutrition, and build healthier, more resilient communities. Safe food everywhere. Better health for everyone.

What happens when technology meets ethics, and generations meet to learn from one another?

This video captures moments from the Digital Storytelling for Ethical Technology and Intergenerational Collaboration Exhibition, a space where young storytellers, media professionals, creatives, academics, and community voices came together to explore how technology can be used more responsibly and meaningfully.

From powerful documentaries and visual stories to spoken word performances and intergenerational conversations, the exhibition reminded us that technology is most impactful when it strengthens understanding, preserves knowledge, and amplifies voices that matter.

The conversations do not end here. The stories do not end here.

This is what happens when people are given the tools, space, and the responsibility to shape communities and influence change.

We are happy to announce that the Saving African Youths Dream Initiative (SAYDi) was selected for Cohort IV of the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) CSR-Hub, specifically under the Digital Security and Protection pillar.

Our Creative Designer, Tijani Shehu Ahmad, nominated to represent the organization, has successfully concluded the 3-day intensive in-person training in Abuja.

The training focused on critical areas of organizational resilience, including:

Incident Response Planning: Structured containment and recovery from cyber incidents.

Access Control & Core Security: Implementing Zero Trust and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

Data Privacy & Compliance: Aligning operations with the Nigeria Cybercrimes Act and data minimization frameworks.

Continuity Planning: Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).

SAYDi will now transition into the next phase of the program, utilizing WACSI’s coaching and mentorship structure to internalize these digital safety frameworks and protect our advocacy ecosystems.

Technology has become part of how people learn, connect, work, and respond to challenges in everyday life.

As we mark World Telecommunication and Information Society Day 2026, the theme “Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World” reminds us that digital progress must also mean inclusion, accessibility, ethical technology, and responsible AI that works for everyone, not just a few.

A connected world is strongest when no community is left behind.

Beautiful faces, thoughtful conversations, and a room full of people willing to listen, learn, and engage.

This was one of the most meaningful parts of the exhibition for us.
