SID, CHRIST EMBASSY/LOVEWORLD NATION EXPLORE PARTNERSHIP TO EXPAND YOUTH SKILLS, TECHNOLOGY AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN ANAMBRA
AWKA, Anambra State - September 30, 2026:
The Solution Innovation District (SID) today hosted a delegation from Christ Embassy/Loveworld Nation to explore opportunities for collaboration on youth empowerment, digital skills development and vocational training across Anambra State.
The delegation was led by Esteemed Pastor Lanre Alabi, Executive Minister, Ministry of Human Resource Transformation, and included Esteemed Pastor Anthony Ikeokwu, Executive Minister, Ministry of Digital Sovereignty & Technology; Esteemed Pastor Archie Aseme, Regional Pastor, NNR18&3 and Zonal Pastor, Christ Embassy Onitsha Zone 1; Pastor Prof. Obioma Ogelle, Chairman, Youth Empowerment Programme; and Engr. Dr. Felix Odimegwu, among other members of the delegation.
Key Areas of Collaboration
Discussions centered on three major areas:
- Vocational Excellence Laboratory, Simulation and Research Centre: The proposed facility is part of Loveworld Nationโs plan to establish 10 world-class vocational institutes globally, with Anambra considered as one of the locations. The proposed centre is expected to provide practical training, simulation and research opportunities in areas including digital technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, entrepreneurship and other emerging fields.
- Skills Development Across the 21 LGAs: The delegation expressed interest in supporting vocational and digital skills training for young people across all 21 Local Government Areas of the State, potentially extending opportunities beyond traditional technology centres and into communities across Anambra.
- Tech Hub and Youth Opportunities: Establishment of a tech hub to strengthen platforms that connect young people to technology, practical skills, research, entrepreneurship and employment pathways.
The proposed collaboration aligns with Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludoโs strong focus on youth development, human capital development and building a technology-driven digital economy in Anambra State.
It would also complement ongoing State initiatives - the 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe by Solution Innovation District, and One Youth, Two Skills programme which are designed to equip young people with relevant skills and create pathways to employment, entrepreneurship and participation in the digital economy.
The engagement also builds on Loveworld Nationโs own youth empowerment efforts, including a training and empowerment initiative launched in August 2026 targeting 50,000 young people.
The delegation was received on behalf of the Deputy Governor by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor/Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor Dr Egbuna Okechi, who reaffirmed the administrationโs commitment to youth development, technology, innovation and skills acquisition.
Also present at the meeting were the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, and the Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment, Mr. Christian Udechukwu who lent their voices and welcomed the proposed partnership.
Speaking during the engagement, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation and CEO of SID, Miss Chinwe Okoli, welcomed the proposed collaboration, noting that partnerships of this nature can significantly expand opportunities for young people across the State.
"We welcome the opportunity to explore this partnership. It has the potential to expand access to relevant skills and create more pathways for young people to participate in the digital economy.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Investment, Hon. Christian Udechukwu, also welcomed the proposed collaboration, noting the importance of strategic partnerships that can contribute to youth development, skills acquisition and economic opportunities across the State.
Both parties agreed to continue discussions towards developing a framework that will define the scope, targets, responsibilities and implementation modalities of the proposed collaboration.
The engagement reinforces SIDโs role as a platform for connecting government with private-sector, faith-based, development and other strategic partners to strengthen Anambraโs innovation ecosystem and expand opportunities for its young population.
As Anambra advances its vision of making technology a way of life and building a stronger digital economy, SID will continue to facilitate partnerships that connect technology, skills, innovation, entrepreneurship and opportunity for the benefit of Ndi Anambra.
