Empowering Anambra’s Young People Through Skills and Opportunity
At the Youth Empowerment Programme 2026, hosted by Christ Embassy Mega Church, Onitsha, under the leadership of Pastor Archie Aseme, the CEO of Solution Innovation District (SID), Ms. Chinwe Okoli, engaged hundreds of young people on the importance of turning potential into practical skills, sustainable livelihoods and opportunities.
She encouraged the youth to see skills not merely as certificates, but as tools to build, earn and compete globally, highlighting initiatives such as SID Academy, Code Anambra, the 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe and startup incubation programmes.
With 264,000+ people trained, 111 startups supported and ₦364 million in seed funding deployed, SID continues to create pathways for young people to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
Ms. Okoli also commended Christ Embassy Mega Church and Pastor Archie Aseme for investing in the skills, character and future of young people, while calling on churches, businesses, schools, communities and other institutions to join government in creating more opportunities for the next generation.
To the young people of Anambra: Learn. Build. Show up. Finish what you start.
