WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAT ✨🐾

Have you ever seen colors that look like they were painted by hand? 🤍🩶

Momma is simply stunning. Her gorgeous gray coat with silver tones makes her truly unique, but the most beautiful thing about her isn’t her appearance—it’s her big, loving heart. 💛

Momma is 3 years old and is a sweet, affectionate, and gentle cat. She loves attention, enjoys being around people, and is always happy to share her company. Every day, she steals our hearts a little more with her wonderful personality. 🥹🐱

Now she only needs one thing to be truly happy: a family to love her forever. 🏡✨

If you’re looking for an elegant, loving, and affectionate companion, Momma might be the perfect cat for you.

STEVE IS STILL LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME OR HIS FOREVER FAMILY ❤️🏡

Eight months ago, Steve was just another dog struggling to survive on the streets. He was alone, with no safe place to sleep and no one looking out for him.

Today, his story is different. Thanks to the kindness of the people who stepped in to help, Steve has blossomed into a healthy, happy dog full of life. ❤️

He is approximately 1.5 years old, weighs 17 kg (37 lbs), is fully vaccinated, has received ongoing veterinary care, and is ready to begin the next chapter of his life.

Steve is a young, intelligent, and playful dog. He loves being around people, learning new things, and making the most of every day. He currently lives with two other dogs and gets along with them very well. 🐶🐶

Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, his current foster home will no longer be able to care for him, so we urgently need to find him a new place where he can continue to feel safe, loved, and secure.

✨ He can go to a foster home.
✨ A meet-and-greet can be arranged if you already have other dogs.
✨ He is also ready to be adopted by a family willing to open their hearts to him forever.

After everything he has been through, we don’t want Steve to lose the stability, love, and comfort he has finally found.

Take a good look at him… behind that smile is a sweet, loving dog who simply wants to belong to a family. ❤️

🙏 Please share this post. The right person could be among your friends or contacts.

📩 If you can foster Steve or are interested in adopting him, please send us a message.

Steve already got a second chance when he was rescued. Now he just needs the most important chance of all: a place to call home. 🐾❤️

Meet Orion 🐾✨

Orion is an approximately 6-month-old kitten who is incredibly affectionate, playful, and social… he truly steals hearts! 😍

He is fully vaccinated, dewormed, and his blood tests came back negative. He deserves a chance. 💛🐱

His story: Orion was rescued about a month and a half ago at Kilometer 9, where he was wandering completely alone.

Because of his young age, he would adapt wonderfully to a home environment. He is playful and, while he gets along well with the other cats in our care, most of them are adults… and Orion is still eager to play, explore, and enjoy being a kitten! Our little orange kittens are still too young to keep up with him. 🥹✨

He gets along well with other cats and simply needs a family willing to give him the love, attention, and playtime he deserves. Orion is very affectionate, enjoys being around people, uses his litter box, and is strictly an indoor cat — he does not go outside.

We sincerely hope Orion won’t have to wait as long as some of our other cats 🥺, who sometimes spend up to a year waiting for a family. He has already made it off the streets… now the most important thing is finding him a loving forever home. 🏡💛

Please give Orion a chance and help us change his life forever. ✨

You can come meet Orion Monday through Saturday from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. 🐾

🐾✨ Thank you for being part of the change! ✨🐾

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who scheduled a spay/neuter appointment for this campaign in collaboration with SimiDog Cozumel 💙🐶🐱
We are truly happy to see such an amazing response and to know that so many people are helping their pets by preventing unwanted litters, improving their health, and reducing behavioral issues.

Spaying and neutering is not only about avoiding more puppies and kittens—it’s about protecting their well-being. It helps prevent serious diseases and promotes a better quality of life. It’s an act of love, responsibility, and compassion 🐾

Our main goal will always be sterilization because we strongly believe it is the most effective way to reduce overpopulation and prevent the suffering of countless dogs and cats living on the streets in the future. That’s why we are committed to offering these campaigns free of charge, making them accessible to everyone.

Each appointment represents hope, a better life for an animal, and a step toward a more compassionate community 💛

Thank you for trusting, for caring, and for being part of this mission 🙏🐾

LET’S HELP HABIBI 💛🐾

Today, we’re reaching out for help for one of our very special rescue cats: Habibi. 🐱

Habibi came to us about two months ago, and although she is doing well overall, we have noticed significant hair loss. She has already been examined by our veterinarian, Juan Carlos, and has received treatment, deworming, flea prevention, medicated baths, and laboratory testing to rule out parasites and other health issues.

Fortunately, all of her test results have come back normal. 🙏

Our next step is to determine whether her hair loss could be caused by a food allergy. To do this, we need to try a special Royal Canin diet. Unfortunately, this food is quite expensive, and we need your support to make this trial possible.

If you would like to help, you can:

🐾 Donate a bag of Royal Canin food for Habibi and bring it directly to us at Huertos Familiares.

🐾 Make a monetary donation and include “HABIBI” in the note or payment description so we know your contribution is intended for her special diet.

Thank you for always caring about our rescued animals and for helping us provide them with the care they need. 💕

LOOKING FOR A HOME ✨🐾

There are beautiful cats… and then there’s Momma. 💛

We know every cat is special, but we are truly fascinated by her. She hasn’t been with us for very long, yet she has already stolen all of our hearts. 🥹

Momma is 3 years old and an incredibly affectionate kitty. She loves being around people, receiving cuddles, and chatting with her humans. She’s the kind of cat that brings comfort, companionship, and happiness wherever she goes. 🐱✨

And we have to talk about her fur… because honestly, it’s something everyone notices when they meet her. She has the softest coat you can imagine—so soft you won’t want to stop petting her. And her beautiful light gray color makes her even more elegant and unique. 🤍✨

She gets along well with other cats, uses her litter box perfectly, and is accustomed to living indoors. She’s a wonderful companion who is ready to find a family that will love her as much as we do. 🏡💕

If you’re looking for a sweet, beautiful cat with so much love to give, we truly believe Momma could be the perfect match for you.

🐾 Come meet her Monday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

📲 For more information, send us a WhatsApp message at +52 987 112 3376.

Remember, when you adopt, you save two lives: the life of the animal you adopt and the life of the next furry friend we’ll be able to help. 💛🐾

🐾✨ Once again, we are able to support Judy with 92 kg of dog food! ✨🐾

Thanks to the support of our community, today we can provide food to Judy, who distributes it among several people caring for many dogs and cats in rural properties, small ranches, and other places where they work hard every day to look after them. 🐶🐱

We are truly grateful because, throughout these 30 years, we have seen more and more people join this cause out of concern for animal welfare. We have witnessed businesses, students, organizations, shelters, rescuers, and families come together to create real change in the lives of countless animals.

We are deeply thankful to everyone and every organization working toward the same goal. There is still much work to be done, but together we continue moving forward. ❤️🐾

A heartfelt thank you to our beautiful island community, which always comes together to support everyone working for animal welfare. Thank you for allowing us to be a bridge that helps more rescuers, families, and animals in need.

✨ Thank you for joining us and being part of the solution. Together, we continue making a difference.

🐾 ANIMAL RESCUE 🐾

We would like to talk a little about what animal rescue truly involves.

When you see a dog or cat living on the streets, there are generally two options:

🐶 Rescue the animal directly and find a way to provide help while sharing their story on social media.
📞 911. Report the situation to local authorities so the appropriate agencies can intervene.

Many people who decide to rescue an animal believe they will be able to immediately bring them to a shelter or rescue organization. However, the reality is that those of us working in animal welfare are already operating at the limits of our capacity and often do not have available space. 🥺

So what happens next?

If you decide to rescue an animal, it is important to understand that you will likely need to provide temporary foster care while they wait for a permanent home. Some animals are adopted within a few weeks, while others may take months—or even years—to find the right family.

We completely understand the desire to help. We wish we could assist every animal that is reported to us, and we would love to be able to do so. However, our capacity is limited. In addition to caring for our rescued animals, our primary focus has always been providing free spay/neuter services as well as low-cost veterinary care.

We also organize vaccination, deworming, and sterilization campaigns, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs for community cats, educational outreach visits, awareness initiatives, and many other activities aimed at addressing the root cause of animal overpopulation.

🐾 What is the first step after rescuing an animal?

Every rescued animal should receive a medical evaluation to determine their overall health:

✔️ Veterinary examination
✔️ Blood testing
✔️ Deworming
✔️ Flea, tick, and mite prevention/treatment
✔️ Bathing and basic care
✔️ Vaccinations
✔️ Spay/neuter surgery when age and health conditions allow

Once the animal has begun or completed their healthcare protocol, we can help promote their adoption through our social media platforms to assist in finding a responsible and loving family. Ask about our Independent Rescuer Program.

Rescuing an animal is one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable. Watching them regain their health, confidence, and happiness is truly priceless. ❤️

At the same time, it is important to remember that rescue comes with responsibility. If a rescue organization does not have available space, the person who chooses to rescue becomes a vital part of the process by providing a safe temporary place or seeking support from family and friends while the animal receives the care they need and searches for a forever home.

Every rescue matters. Every foster home makes a difference. And every person who chooses to help becomes part of the solution. 🐾🏡❤️

We would like to sincerely thank the Cozumel community. We know there are many people with tremendous love and compassion for animals, and thanks to their kindness, countless dogs and cats who once lived alone on the streets have been given a second chance at life.
