r Country and Creed, our Race and Flag, with our Six Guiding Principles of Brotherhood, Justice, Peace, Discipline, Service and Equality. Originally, our Membership was mainly from the military and security forces. Shortly after EDSA in 1986, almost 50% of the entire AFP / INP were Members. Most of our Members today are from civilian life. Our military origins however, explain some of the traditions we continue. We serve with pride, knowing our history, and especially of the sacrifices made by those who came before us. The genesis or emergence of the "GUARDIANS BROTHERHOOD, INC", with Securities and Exchange Commission Registration Number 123899 dated December 10, 1984 is anchored primarily upon the human needs or societal needs for as man by nature is a social being. As a social being, it is of paramount importance that man shall have to associate with one another for common good guided by the principles of brotherhood, peace, discipline, equality and justice geared towards the realization of the GBI organization's vision for the emancipation of the Filipino Masses from its great bo***ge of economic, political and socio-cultural slavery from the claws of the few crooked and opportunist leaders of our morally and financially bankrupt government of the Republic of the Philippines. In like manner that the organization's vision focus on what the late statesman President Ramon Magsaysay had said, and I quote that "Those who have less in life must have more in law" as also exemplified in the words of the great statesman the late US President Abraham Lincoln when he described in his speech that "Four scores and seven years ago our country brought forth in this continent a new Nation conceived by liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal". Above all, the leaders and members of the GBI organization spearheaded by the "NATIONAL TRIUMVIRATE" always implored the aid of the Divine Providence for the achievement and realization of the GBI's vision for the full emancipation of the Filipino Masses.
