Dear All,
The Brain Boosters Club is a club that was created by an undergraduate student in September 2011 at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, AUI. The Club has some targets and projects to realize.
- The first aim is to boost one's intelligence and brain capacities. The Club organizes some workshops with the collaboration of AUI counselor, use online training programs, and solve some challeng
ing problems logical and discrete problems.
-The second aim is to boost students’ general knowledge in many fields, such as history, geography, biology, computer science, arts, current news, astronomy, mathematic and physics. The Club believes that by achieving these points students will be cultured enough to lead any conversation as fluently as possible. This is to boost their brains as the name of the Club refers to. In order to make this happen, students are invited to join the team that shares similar interests with them and do a little bit of research about it in order to share it with fellow club members during the weekly meetings. Meanwhile, by the end of the semester, the club publishes all the information that was shared during workshops and presentations in AUI newspaper that is shared with the AUI Community. Furthermore, the Organization does some social work. That’s to say, the organization buys some intellectuals games such as, scrabble, to offer it to the children of the surrounding primary schools of Ifrane. By doing this, the group tries to help children develop their skills in an early age and become smarter. The organization brings them out of the monotonic schools life and, in the same time, the organization develops their linguistics and skills. The Club helps them discover their talent and improve themselves. Last but not least, the club organizes a local competition among AUI students to test their intellectual capacities and choose the best AUI students to represent Al Akhawayn University in an annual National Knowledge Competition. The first edition was in March 29th 2012, in AUI where the club gathered the best universities students to compete and try to pick the best team into a National scale. The club is looking forward to carry on with the coming editions and develop this National Knowledge Competition to an International large scale in the coming years. The club believes becoming smarter is possible. Intellectually,
