Leadership Development Institute LDI and its leadership development program, offers a co-curricular certificate in leadership for high-initiative, high-achieving AUI students.

The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), seeks to be a model student leadership development program for Morocco and the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region. During two semesters, this program involves students in leadership development workshops and speakers series in addition to individual involvement in student groups, research, service projects an

d community leadership, and other leadership and development experiences. By adapting best practices from successful student leadership development programs to Moroccan culture, the LDI will develop, implement and disseminate effective leadership development in Morocco, MENA and other developing countries.
