Grand Bassa County: YCWL was proud to be part of the USAID Youth Advance Project, an initiative that strengthened economic self-reliance and resilience for over 21,000 young people across Lofa, Montserrado, and Grand Bassa. Through partnerships with youth-serving organizations and local employers, the project delivered basic education, work readiness, health and resilience training, and real workplace experience that helped young people move closer to their employment goals. Using a strong community-focused approach, the Youth Advance Project connected youth to local resources, networks, and services, while building leadership and peer support systems that last beyond the project.

Together, we supported young Liberians to build skills, access opportunities, and shape stronger futures for themselves and their communities.
