This is why SCNL devoted a better part of 2013 and 2014 to building the capacities of local community people, students and other concerned individuals for participation in biodiversity conservation and protected area management.

The Society for the Conservation of Nature of Liberia (SCNL) was established some 33 years ago to promote nature conservation and develop skills needed to help halt the accelerating loss to biological diversity. The natural resources are protected, managed and wisely used for a better future. During these long years, SCNL has remained a reputable conservation organization, SCNL resolved to stay afloat, this presented SCNL the opportunity to advocate for stronger forest management policies and awareness rising on best practices. This is why SCNL devoted a better part of 2013 and 2014 to building the capacities of local community people, students and other concerned individuals for participation in biodiversity conservation and protected area management.
