XYXX is a youth-lead, youth-based non-profit organization designed to empower young talent to pursue a personally and professionally fulfilling life, by overcoming gender discrimination, outdated social norms and gender-based expectations. Our goal is to provide the necessary education, training and resources to empower young men and women to pursue their true passions and become the best version
of themselves they can be. We hope to uplift and encourage the youth to express themselves, and be confident in doing so. XYXX will enable, educate and empower young men and women, who either lack the confidence, resources or capacity to move forward on their own. First and foremost, we will educate the youth on egalitarian ideology, to help them realize that gender should never stand in their way. To do this we will:
- train young men and women to communicate effectively, so they can speak up within their communities.
- provide consultation for young entrepreneurs who are seeking professional expertise in starting their own ventures.
- host social awareness workshops in Sri Lankan schools, to discuss popular social issues that needs to be discussed.
- carry out competitions and other activities that allows young people broaden their horizons and increase innovation. Through these and many more events, we hope to
1) Educate the Sri Lankan youth on significant social issues that need to be understood in order to move forward as a society
2) Encourage leadership, and
