We are nonprofit using long distance hiking to inspire and support meaningful causes. [email protected]

Hike With Me isn’t just about going from one place to another it’s a nonprofit rooted in the heart of Petra, born from a simple but powerful idea: walking can change lives. What started as one person’s journey has grown into something much bigger a global movement that brings people together, supports communities, and gives a voice to stories that deserve to be heard. We believe that when you walk

with purpose, a trail becomes more than just a path. It becomes a bridge connecting people, cultures, and moments in time. It’s about honoring the past while stepping toward something better. Whether we’re leading hikes through local landscapes or crossing entire continents, Hike With Me creates moments of connection, reflection, and action. It’s not just adventure we’re after it’s meaning, heart, and impact. As an NGO, our work includes everything from awareness campaigns and education programs to record-breaking hikes all guided by one mission:

Walk with purpose. Connect with heart. Leave a footprint that matters.

A meaningful visit was made by Alaya to Goldridge College in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼

Where he had a warm and impactful meeting with the school students, and engaged in an inspiring dialogue in which he shared a message of peace and positive impact, planting within them hope, determination, and belief in their ability to create change in the world.

On April 30, 2026,
Mr. Alaya made a special stop during the world’s longest peace walk, visiting a children’s home.

It wasn’t just another stop, it was a moment of connection. Smiles were shared, and the journey became less about distance and more about people.

A reminder that this walk is about bringing hearts closer, spreading hope, and that sometimes, the smallest moments are the most powerful.

The Longest Peace March Is More Than Distance, It’s Purpose.

I’m walking thousands of kilometers for one simple idea: that this journey is not mine alone. It belongs to everyone who believes. From one country to another, one step at a time, the road is long, but this march isn’t about how far I go, it’s about why I go.
Every bit of support pushes this journey further. Your support means everything.

A SPECIAL DAY

As Mr. Alaya was invited to visit Petra College Senior in Bulawayo - Zimbabwe, where he had the honour of meeting the Headmaster, Mr. Rob Aldridge.

What made this visit even more special is the coincidence behind the name Petra College, sharing the same name as Alaya’s hometown, Petra, w world wonder in Jordan. A connection that added a deeper personal meaning to the moment.

The meeting was both productive and profound, focusing on the transformative power of education and its long-lasting impact on communities. They shared a common vision regarding the vital importance of investing in students, and the discussion also highlighted Mr. Alaya’s mission of walking the world’s longest route to support early childhood development (ECD) and promote peace through education and human connection. This visit marks an important step in strengthening relationships between the mission and schools along the journey, while opening doors for future collaboration and shared impact.

We sincerely thank Mr. Rob Aldridge, Headmaster, for his interest in this mission and for the warm welcome extended to Mr. Alaya. We wish Petra College Senior / Junior continued growth, success, and excellence.
