ببالغ الحزن والأسى، يتقدّم الصندوق الأردني الهاشمي للتنمية البشرية (جهد) بأحرّ التعازي وصادق المواساة إلى أسر ضحايا الحادث الأليم في قرية حمّود بمحافظة الكرك وذويهم، وإلى أهلنا في الكرك كافة، سائلاً الله أن يتغمّد الضحايا بواسع رحمته، وأن يمنّ على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، وأن يُلهم أهلهم الصبر والسلوان.

حمى الله الأردن وأهله.

With profound sorrow, the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (Johud) extends its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident in the village of Hammoud, Karak Governorate, and to all the people of Karak.
We pray that God, in His infinite mercy, embraces the deceased, grants the injured a swift recovery, and brings patience and solace to their families.

May God protect Jordan and its people.

الفقر ليس مجرد أرقام… بل تحديات يومية تواجهها أسر تسعى إلى حياة أكثر استقرارًا وكرامة.

في اليوم الدولي للقضاء على الفقر، نؤكد أن التكافل والتضامن يبدأ من الوقوف إلى جانب أهلنا الأعزاء، والاستماع إلى احتياجاتهم، والعمل معًا لتخفيف الأعباء عنهم.

ومن خلال شراكة حملة البر والإحسان مع جمعية رحمة للعالمين، نواصل مدّ جسور الخير بين أهل العطاء ومستحقيه، إيمانًا بأن المساندة اليوم يمكن أن تكون خطوة نحو غدٍ أفضل.

لأن مواجهة الفقر لا تقتصر على تلبية الاحتياجات الآنية، بل تمتد إلى حماية كرامة الإنسان، وتعزيز صمود الأسر، وفتح فرص لحياة أكثر استقرارًا.

Poverty is more than a statistic. It is the daily challenges faced by families striving for stability and dignity.

On the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we reaffirm that solidarity begins with standing alongside communities, listening to their needs, and working together to ease the burdens they face.

Through the collaboration between the Goodwill Campaign and Mercy to Humanity Association, we continue connecting the generosity of those who give with families who need support, recognising that today's assistance can be a step towards a better tomorrow.

Because addressing poverty goes beyond meeting immediate needs. It is about protecting dignity, strengthening family resilience, and creating opportunities for more secure lives.

في إربد، اطمأنت صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة بسمة بنت طلال، رئيسة اللجنة العليا لحملة البر والإحسان، على مرضى خضعوا لعمليات جراحية ضمن برنامج «لمسة شفاء» من أهلنا في الشمال، بجهود أطباء الحملة المتطوعين وشركائها في القطاع الطبي.

وشهدت الزيارة توقيع اتفاقيات للحملة مع مستشفى إربد التخصصي ومركز الرؤيا لطب وجراحة العيون، لتعزيز وصول أهلنا في الشمال إلى الرعاية المتخصصة، وترسيخ التعاون في خدمة مرضى الحملة.

مع شركائنا ومتطوعينا، نواصل رسالتنا كحلقة وصل بين أهل الخير ومستحقيه من أهلنا الأعزاء؛ لنخفّف ألمًا، وندعم طموحًا، ونفتح معًا فرصًا لحياة أفضل.

In Irbid, Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Talal, Chair of the Higher Committee of the Goodwill Campaign, visited patients from northern Jordan who had undergone surgeries through the medical assistance programme, made possible by the Campaign’s volunteer doctors and its partners in the medical sector.
During the visit, the Campaign signed agreements with Irbid Speciality Hospital and Al-Ru’ya Centre for Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery to improve access to specialised care for people in the north and strengthen cooperation in support of the Campaign’s patients.
Together with our partners and volunteers, we continue our mission as a bridge between those who wish to give and those most in need across our communities — easing pain, supporting ambition, and opening up opportunities for a better life.

هذه لغتي… ومنها أتعلم، أعبّر، أشارك، وأحلم.

في اليوم الدولي للغات الإشارة 2026، وتحت شعار «إعلان حقوق الإنسان للأشخاص الصم»، نحتفي في مدرسة الرجاء للصم بلغة تمنح طلبتنا مساحة كاملة ليكونوا أنفسهم؛ يسألون، يشاركون آراءهم، يتخذون قراراتهم، ويعبّرون عن طموحاتهم للمستقبل.

لغة الإشارة ليست وسيلة للتواصل فقط، بل حقٌ يفتح الطريق إلى التعليم والمشاركة والثقة بالنفس، ويمنح كل طالب وطالبة فرصة حقيقية لتحقيق ما يطمحون إليه.
وفي جهد، نؤمن أن التعليم الشامل يبدأ حين تكون لغة الطالب حاضرة، مفهومة، ومحترمة.
تعلّموا لغة الإشارة… وافتحوا مساحة أوسع للتواصل والمشاركة.

On the International Day of Sign Languages 2026, under the theme “Declaring Deaf People’s Human Rights,” we celebrate a language that gives students at Al Rajaa School for the Deaf the space to be fully themselves, to ask questions, share their views, make choices and express their ambitions for the future.
Sign language is more than a means of communication. It is a right that opens the way to education, participation and confidence, giving every student a genuine opportunity to pursue their aspirations.

At Johud, we believe inclusive education begins when every student’s language is present, understood and respected.

في الكرك، لم يكن الخير محطة واحدة… بل مسارات تمتد من الدعم إلى التمكين.
تواصل حملة البر والإحسان بحضور صاحبة السمو الملكي الأميرة بسمة بنت طلال رئيسة اللجنة العليا رسالتها كحلقة وصل تجمع أهل الخير بمستحقيه من أهلنا الأعزاء؛ من طرود غذائية لأسر ترأسها سيدات، وحقائب مدرسية للأطفال، إلى مساعدات دراسية لطلبة جامعيين ودعم سيدات لتطوير مشاريعهن المنتجة وبناء مصادر دخل أكثر استدامة.
وخلال زيارتها إلى مركز جهد التنموي/الكرك، التقت سموها بالسيدات والشباب، واستمعت إلى تجاربهم ومبادراتهم في التمكين الاقتصادي، والعمل التطوعي، والتوعية المائية، والإعلام المجتمعي.
في حملة البر والإحسان، نؤمن أن العطاء الحقيقي لا يقف عند تلبية الحاجة… بل يفتح طريقًا نحو فرصة، واعتماد أكبر على الذات، ومستقبل أكثر استقرارًا.

In Karak, giving has never been a one-off act; it has opened pathways from support to empowerment.
In the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma bint Talal, Chair of the Higher Committee, The Goodwill Campaign continues its mission as a bridge connecting those who wish to give with people and families most in need across our communities. Its support ranges from food parcels for female-headed households and school bags for children, to educational assistance for university students and support for women to develop their income-generating enterprises and build more sustainable sources of livelihood.
During her visit to the JOHUD Development Centre in Karak, Her Royal Highness met with women and young people and listened to their experiences and initiatives in economic empowerment, volunteering, water awareness and community media.
At The Goodwill Campaign, we believe that meaningful giving does not stop at meeting an immediate need; it opens a pathway towards opportunity, greater self-reliance and a more secure future.
