❤️ To our NIV Foundation volunteers - THANK YOU.

One year ago, Hurricane Melissa swept through and left devastation in its wake. But before the waters even settled, you showed up.

You showed up with your hands, your hearts, and your time - when it was hard, when it was heavy, and when no one was watching.

For 365 days, you have walked alongside families. You have carried food, sat with grieving neighbours, assessed needs, packed packages, and poured yourselves out - quietly, consistently, and faithfully.

You are the reason NIV Foundation is not just an organisation. You are the reason we are a family.

To every volunteer who gave an hour, a day, a weekend or the whole year, we see you. We honour you. We are nothing without you.

Because of YOU, our living has not been in vain. 🖤❤️

🕊️ One year ago today, Hurricane Melissa changed everything.

We remember the 28th of October - the floodwaters, the losses, the tears. We stood with our communities from Day One, and we are still standing.

To every individual affected, your resilience has been our strength. You did not give up. You kept going. And so did we.

NIV Foundation was there in the mud. We are here in the rebuilding. And we will be here in the rising.

Because that is what we do - we walk alongside you. Not in vain. Not in silence. But in love, in action, and in unwavering hope.

Together - we shall rise again. 🙌🏾❤️

World Homeless Day!

Today we pause to recognize our friends who are faced with hardships everyday as they navigate being displaced. They have to continuously work through their new normal and adjust daily to a life where nothing is certain. We continue to provide ongoing support as best as we can to change their circumstances even in the smallest way.

Everyday is World Homeless Day for us!

We partnered with The Optimist Club of Mandeville Domalu Restaurant and the Manchester Municipal Corporation in providing support to the homeless.

- Grooming
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Facial
- Massage
- Breakfast and lunch
- Games

And just being present for them!
