They came. They collected. They smiled. ๐ญ๐ฃ๐
By 10:22 AM, 210 bags of feed arrived. And one by one, the farmers of Parottee showed up to collect what Hurricane Melissa tried to take from them permanently.
100 baby chicks. 14 bags of feed. Per farmer. Today. ๐๐พ
Grandmothers. Young mothers with babies on their chest. Men and women who have farmed this land their whole lives. All of them, loading up their cars, their trucks with hope nestled in a cardboard box. ๐ฃ
And the smiles? You canโt fake that. ๐ญโค๏ธ
An additional 6 bags of feed will follow in the coming weeks to support them through the full first cycle. This is not a one-time gesture. This is a commitment. ๐ค๐พ
Massive, heartfelt gratitude to and for this generous donation. You didnโt just donate feed and chicks - you gave 15 families their livelihoods back.
