🌱 Restoring Hope & Rebuilding Our Greens! 🌳
Following the severe devastation left behind by Hurricane Melissa across the western region, the LifePak Foundation stepped up this Labour Day to bring life back to our land!

Through dedicated community action, over 200 trees were planted on Labour Day to support regional recovery. Banana, Mango, plantains,Pear, guava are just a few examples of trees that were planted. This initiative directly benefited more than 30 community members and farmers across St. James and Hanover.

Good day. JCI Jamaica welcomes nominations for the *JCI Jamaica Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) Award 2026.* 🏆

Any person between the ages of 18 and 40 years may enter provided they have an outstanding accomplishment in any of the following areas:

-Business, economic, and/or entrepreneurial accomplishment

-Political, legal, and/or governmental affairs

-Academic leadership and/or accomplishment

-Cultural achievement

-Moral and/or environmental leadership

-Contribution to children, world peace, and/or human rights

-Humanitarian and/or voluntary leadership

-Scientific and/or technological development

-Personal improvement and/or accomplishment

-Medical innovation

August 26, 2026, marked a significant day for me, NEVP Farin Williams, as I was invited to present at Hopewell High School. The topic was mental health in leadership training, and I was excited to share my insights with their staff.

We delved into several critical areas, including:

- Emotional Intelligence: The ability to recognize, understand, and manage your emotions to respond effectively.
- Social Intelligence: Developing the skills to read a room, build trust, and communicate effectively.
- Conflict Resolution and Team Building: Strategies for resolving conflicts, building trust, and fostering a positive team dynamic.
- Stress, Burnout, and Depression: Understanding the differences, recognizing the signs, and mitigating the risks.
- Mental Health in Leadership: The importance of prioritizing mental health, creating a supportive culture, and seeking help when needed.

The presentation was well-received, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to make a positive impact.
