📍Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham, Houghton Saint Giles – England.

The Templars gathered with deep devotion for an intense spiritual retreat and night vigil at the Catholic Basilica of Our Lady of Walsingham, participating with living faith in the sacred rite of the Holy Mass celebrated alongside the community of the faithful.

An experience of profound grace, entrusted with filial devotion to the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the silence of the night, at the feet of the Mother, prayer rose as a living witness of faith, fervently enkindling the sense of service and the Christian commitment that guide our steps.❤️‍🔥⚔️

Today the Church celebrates Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, Abbot, Doctor of the Church, and spiritual pillar of Christendom.

For us Templars, Saint Bernard is much more than a Saint: he is the Spiritual Father who redefined the meaning of chivalric life.

It was he, with the power of his words and his authoritative support at the Council of Troyes, who gave shape and legitimacy to the Nova Militia. Through his treatise “De Laude Novae Militiae”, he achieved a perfect synthesis between the path of faith and armed action, ennobling the profession of arms and binding it indissolubly to prayer, the protection of the weak, and the defense of the faith.

From then on, the Christian knight is no longer just someone who brandishes a sword, but a man devoted to asceticism, discipline, self-sacrifice, and honor.

Guardians of this sacred heritage, today we celebrate his memory, renewing the flame of that ancient ideal. ⚔️❤️‍🔥

✨📜The stones of our ancient churches do not speak to everyone. They guard a code of Faith and Chivalry that only a soul willing to look beyond the surface can decipher: not mere decoration, but prayer carved in stone to guide the faithful along the path of Salvation.

A profound language designed to elevate the soul and direct our gaze toward Christ. Awakening this memory, safeguarding forgotten places of worship, and being witnesses of Faith in today’s world is the mission that continues even now, in prayer and in action.📜✨

“A great sign appeared in the sky: a woman robed in the sun, with the moon beneath her feet and a crown of twelve stars upon her head.”

Today’s liturgical entrance antiphon for the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary invites us to contemplate Our Lady, the heavenly patroness and spiritual guide of every knight. Mary is far more than a source of comfort; she stands as an unyielding bulwark and the ultimate archetype of total surrender to the Father’s will.

In an age driven by relativism, fixing our eyes on Her who was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory means realigning our course toward rectitude, authentic Faith, and selfless service.

As a community of the faithful anchored in the timeless values of Tradition and Catholic Chivalry, we mark this solemnity by renewing our pledge to awaken consciences, protect forgotten churches, and boldly witness to the Gospel. Mary’s triumph over death and evil reminds us that our daily spiritual warfare is never in vain, but is eternally anchored on high.

Following in the footsteps of the pilgrims who for centuries crossed Europe to bear witness to the Faith, our journey finds a moment of deep prayer and silence in Santiago de Compostela. This is not a mere trip or a tradition of bygone times, but the living search for Christ in the contemporary world, amid the hardship of the journey and chivalric brotherhood.⚔️

In the quiet recollection of this sacred land, we renew our promise to defend Christian values and safeguard the spiritual roots of our civilization. Being Templars today means walking against the tide, turning lived faith into a beacon for those who seek the Truth with a sincere heart.❤️‍🔥

From the Gospel according to St. Matthew
14:13-21

When Jesus heard of the death of John the Baptist,
he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by himself.
The crowds heard of this and followed him on foot from their towns.
When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd,
his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick.
When it was evening, the disciples approached him and said,
“This is a deserted place and it is already late;
dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages
and buy food for themselves.”
Jesus said to them, “There is no need for them to go away;
give them some food yourselves.”
But they said to him,
“Five loaves and two fish are all we have here.”
Then he said, “Bring them here to me,”
and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven,
he said the blessing, broke the loaves,
and gave them to the disciples,
who in turn gave them to the crowds.
They all ate and were satisfied,
and they picked up the fragments left over—
twelve wicker baskets full.
Those who ate were about five thousand men,
not counting women and children.
