NONOSTANTE IL TUMORE, NONOSTANTE LA CHEMIO, METTE AL MONDO IL SUO BIMBO, ORA LA SFIDA PIU' GRANDE..... SALVARSI!
Siamo i parenti e gli amici di PAMELA, 37 anni, di Montefalco (PG), purtroppo ha scoperto di avere un tumore mentre era incinta, da subito ha dimostrato il suo coraggio mettendo al mondo il suo bimbo dopo tante sofferenze, diventando un esempio per tutti noi.
Si, Pamela ha un linfoma primitivo del mediastino non-Hodgkin di tipo aggressivo, diagnosticato al sesto mese di gravidanza, questo non le ha impedito di donare la vita al suo piccolo pur subendo i primi cicli di chemioterapia con il suo Nicola in grembo.
Non si è fermata, non si è arresa, Nicola è nato il 13 novembre 2018, ora ha 4 mesi e sta bene anche grazie alle cure amorevoli ricevute dalla famiglia e dai medici dei reparti di ematologia e ostetricia dell’ ospedale S. Maria della Misericordia di Perugia, una struttura all'avanguardia per le cure e per l’umanità degli operatori. Oggi Pamela è ancora lì, in ospedale, sta tentando un settimo ciclo di chemioterapia che però fino ad ora non ha prodotto i risultati sperati.
E’ stata anche candidata a sottoporsi ad una nuova terapia sperimentale chiamata CAR-T, presso l’ istituto tumori di Milano, ma purtroppo, questa cura non è ancora fruibile in Italia!
Infatti solo pochissimi casi possono essere trattati, principalmente pediatrici, per gli altri ad oggi non si sanno né i tempi, ne i modi con i quali si potrà accedere e le liste sono lunghissime.
NOI DOBBIAMO FARE IN FRETTA!!
Una possibile alternativa è andare all’ estero per tentare la cura CAR-T, dove sono in corso sperimentazioni, purtroppo solo a pagamento, con costi esorbitanti che arrivano ai 500.000 Euro.... America o Israele i siti più probabili.

Per noi queste cure sono economicamente inaccessibili e proprio per questo l'unica possibilità che abbiamo è quella di unire le forze e chiedere aiuto, sperando che goccia dopo goccia si possa raggiungere quanto necessario.
IL SOLO PENSIERO CHE LA NOSTRA PAMELA NON POSSA CRESCERE SUO FIGLIO E' DEVASTANTE!
Non possiamo rinunciare a lottare sapendo che esiste la concreta possibilità di poter donare loro un futuro insieme, come è giusto che sia!
Pamela è una ragazza amante della natura e dell'arte, dipinge e adora gli animali tanto da aver creato, con non pochi sacrifici, l'allevamento amatoriale "Ali di Cocker" facendo della sua passione più grande, un lavoro.
Pamela affronta la vita con il sorriso, anche ora che è così difficile, e noi vorremmo che potesse farlo ancora per molto tempo!

We are the relatives and friends of PAMELA, 37 years old, from Montefalco (PG), unfortunately she discovered she had a tumor while she was pregnant, she immediately showed her courage by giving birth to her baby after so much suffering, becoming an example for all of us.
Pamela has a primitive lymphoma of the non-Hodgkin mediastinum of an aggressive type, diagnosed in the sixth month of pregnancy, this did not prevent her from giving life to her baby even though she underwent the first cycles of chemotherapy when she was pregnant of her Nicola. She didn't give up, Nicola was born on November 13th 2018, now he is 4 months old and he's fine thanks to the lovely care received from the family and from the doctors of the hematology and obstetrics wards of the S. Maria della Misericordia hospital of Perugia, a leading structure thanks to the care and humanity of the operators.
Today Pamela is still there, in the hospital, she is trying a seventh cycle of chemotherapy which, however, has not produced the desired results until now. She was also a candidate to try a new experimental therapy called CAR-T, at the Milan Tumor Institute, but unfortunately, this treatment is not available in Italy!
There are no agreements between the country and pharmaceutical companies !!!
In fact only a few cases can be treated, mainly pediatric cases, but we do not know neither the times, nor the ways in which they can be accessed and the waiting lists are very long.
WE MUST DO HURRY !! And the only alternative is to go abroad, where experiments are underway, to try the CAR-T treatment but unfortunately, only a few are available, with exorbitant costs of up to 500,000 Euros .... America or Israel the most probable sites.
These treatments are economically inaccessible for us and for this reason the only possibility that we have is to join forces and ask for help, hoping that thank to your help we can reach what is necessary.
THE ONLY THOUGHT THAT OUR PAMELA CANNOT GROW HER SON IS DEVASTATING TO US!
