As part of the Youth-Led Climate Awareness and Resilience Initiative under the Move for the Planet initiative, supported by Common Goal and adidas, YFC Rurka Kalan is engaging children and young people through a series of interactive activities designed to strengthen climate awareness, preparedness, and community resilience.
Following the 2025 floods, this initiative aims to help children, youth, and communities better understand the realities of climate change and the importance of climate adaptation. By connecting lived experiences with climate education, the campaign encourages meaningful reflection, informed action, and shared responsibility.
Through interactive learning sessions, young people are being equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership needed to become active advocates for climate resilience. At the same time, these efforts are helping foster greater awareness, shared responsibility, and collective action across the community.
Each activity—whether through creative expression, discussion, visual learning, or interactive participation—contributes to building a deeper understanding of climate challenges while inspiring collective action toward a more resilient future.
Because resilience begins with awareness, and lasting change begins with empowered young people.
