We are partners in a global campaign, which aims to restore the childhood of millions of children by means of care, protection, opportunities, participation and most significantly sports. We dream of an India where every child goes to school, is made available a decent education, health care and shelter. A proud moment for YFC Rurka Kalan!

Four of our Under-17 players—Jashanpreet Singh, Raunik, Ramandeep and Karanjot Singh—have been selected to represent Punjab at the Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy 2026–27, the Junior Boys’ National Football Championship, being held in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Having spent 2 to 4 years training and developing at YFC Rurka Kalan, their selection reflects their dedication, consistency, and growth over the years, supported by regular training and committed coaching.

Their journey from grassroots football to the national level is a proud achievement and an inspiration for many more young players in the community to believe in themselves, stay committed, and pursue their sporting dreams.

From Punjabi Roots to the FIFA World Cup!

YFC Rurka Kalan is pleased to acknowledge the achievement of A***n Parmar, who has been selected for the Canada U-15 National Team.

Born in 2011, A***n is part of the Canada U-15 squad for the camp being held from August 12 to 23, 2026, and will represent Canada in two matches against Chile on August 19 and August 22.

This achievement holds a meaningful connection for YFC Rurka Kalan. A***n’s father, Sanjeev Parmar (Parmar Sports Training Inc.)has been associated with YFC Rurka Kalan through our coach capacity-building programs, contributing to the development and strengthening of coaching at the grassroots level.

For YFC Rurka Kalan, it is especially meaningful to see Sanjeev Parmar’s son, A***n, take this important step and reach the international stage at a young age.

A valuable learning experience in the Punjab Youth League.

YFC Rurka Kalan played their second Punjab Youth League match against SDMSA APS at the YFC Rurka Kalan Stadium. SDMSA APS secured a 2–0 victory over YFC Rurka Kalan.

While the result was not in our favour, the match gave our young players another opportunity to compete, gain valuable match experience, and learn from the challenges of competitive football.

Our team takes the learnings from this match forward as they continue their journey in the league.

Creating opportunities today, empowering young people for tomorrow.

This International Youth Day 2026, we organized a football tournament in Gujarat under YFC Rurka Kalan Project Nurture, bringing young participants together to compete, connect, and develop valuable skills through sport.

Alongside the tournament, a creative documentation activity helped students understand the importance of knowing their identity and taking responsibility for their personal information—skills that extend beyond the football field.

The event also marked the beginning of the Sports for Excellence (S4E) program at the school, opening new opportunities for students to regularly participate in football and sport.

For YFC Rurka Kalan, youth development is about creating spaces where young people can participate, build confidence, and take responsibility.
