A glimpse into the BRICS Friendship Cities Conclave 2026 — two days of ideas, dialogue, connections and collaboration in Mumbai.

From inspiring addresses and thought-provoking sessions to meaningful exchanges between cities, leaders, experts and institutions, the Conclave brought together diverse perspectives around the urban challenges shaping our shared future.

Across six thematic sessions, conversations explored climate and environmental resilience, future-ready infrastructure, mobility, housing, air pollution, heat resilience and AI-enabled urban governance — with a strong focus on how cities can learn from and work with one another.

What made these two days truly meaningful were the people and partnerships that came together from across BRICS nations and beyond.

A glimpse of the moments that made BRICS Friendship Cities Conclave 2026 a landmark chapter for Mumbai First.

And as the Conclave comes to a close, the conversations and collaborations move forward.
