Kundan work holds a special place in my heart. My mum has always loved kundan- whether it was on her jewellery, her clothes or her show pieces.

There is a core memory of us sitting on the floor, sticking some kundan beads to one of her dupattas because it just would make her entire outfit complete. I think I must have been 6/7 if I’m not wrong, but I remember it so visually as if we’re still sitting there! Oof :)
