Why Addicts Relapse
One of the biggest myths about addiction is:
"If someone really wants to quit, they will never go back!" But addiction is not just physical, it is deeply psychological.
Many addicts are addicted not only to ni****ne or to***co, but to:
- stress relief
- emotional escape
- routine comfort
- temporary peace
And when stress, loneliness, anxiety, or triggers return, the brain remembers the fastest escape route it once knew.
Common reasons for relapse:
Old triggers & environments
Overconfidence after quitting Lack of emotional support
Unmanaged stress & anxiety
• Weak coping mechanisms
