Project Swarajya It came into existence in mid-1988 in the midst of a country-wide movement for making Right to Work a fundamental right in the Constitution of India.

PROJECT SWARAJYA Organisation Mission to empower the women and other marginalized and weaker sections of the society such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled tribes, Other Backward classes, minorities, disabled and destitutes for their effective participation. PROJECT SWARAJYA is a non-profit making, non-party, pluralistic and open-ended platform that underlines the need for debate, discussion and dial

ogue among the concerned key players to tackle the complex human rights issues that the society is confronted with. Besides this campaign it also then took up the particular demand of legislating and implementing Employment Guarantee Act for rural unskilled labour in Orissa along Maharastra lines. Orissa being a predominantly rural-tribal society, the women in villages who among others have been marginalized due to one-sided development programmes needed most of all guarantee of job round the year by the State a thing which has been experimented since mid-70s in Maharastra. Fortunately enough, after a lapse of a decade and half, the Common Minimum Programme of the present UPA Government at the Centre has given a definite assurance to legislate a National Employment Guarantee Act for the whole country. The Organisation has happily prepared itself to conduct a campaign of earlier type for ensuring the foolproof pro-people orientation to the promised legislation.

ତା ୨୦-୬-୨୦୨୬ଶୁକ୍ରବାର ଦିନ ଫକିରପଡା ନିଶାମୁକ୍ତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ପରିସରରେ ପ୍ରୋଜେକ୍ଟ ସ୍ବରାଜ୍ୟ ଓ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନର ମିଳିତ ଆନୁକୁଲ୍ୟରେ ବିଶ୍ଵ ମଦ ଓ ମାଦକ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଅପବ୍ୟବହାର ଓ ବିରୋଧ ଦିବସ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଇଅଛି। ଏହି ଦିବସର ଆଭିମୁଖ୍ୟ ଥିଲା ନିଶା ମୁକ୍ତ ଅଭିଯାନ।ଏଥିରେ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଉପଖଣ୍ଡ ସାମାଜିକ ସୁରକ୍ଷା ଅଧିକାରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ଯୁକ୍ତ ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ବେହେରା,ପ୍ରଜାପିତା ବ୍ରହ୍ମା କୁମାରୀ ର ଭି,କେ ଲଳିତ ଭାଇ,ଭଉଣୀ ଭିକେ ସସ୍ମିତା, ପ୍ରୋଜେକ୍ଟ ସ୍ବରାଜ୍ୟ ର ସମ୍ପାଦିକା ଡଲି ଦାସ୍, ଉପସଭାପତି ଶର୍ମିଷ୍ଠା ନାଥ, ନିର୍ଦେଶକ ପ୍ରଶାନ୍ତ କୁମାର ଦଳବେହେରା,ନିଉଭିଜନର ବିକ୍ରମ କେଶରୀ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ନିଶାର କୁପ୍ରଭାବ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିବା ଅନ୍ତେବାସୀ ଓ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝାଇଥିଲେ। ସମାଜରେ ନିଶାର ପ୍ରଭାବ ଏତେ ମାତ୍ରାରେ ବଢ଼ିଯାଇଛି ଯେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହାଦ୍ବାରା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାର ରୋଗ ରେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ହୋଇ ଅକାଳରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ବରଣ କରୁଛନ୍ତି।ପରିବାର ଛାରଖାର ହୋଇଯାଉଛି, ସମାଜରେ ବାଛନ୍ଦ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ଆମେ ରୋକିବାକୁ ପଡିବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗ ନିତ୍ୟାନ୍ତ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ, ବିଶେଷ କରି ଯୁବପିଢି ଏଦିଗରେ ଦୃଢ଼ ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପ ନେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ।ସନ୍ଥାର ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦାତା ପ୍ରଶନ୍ନ କୁମାର ମହାନ୍ତି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କ୍ରମଟିକୁ ସଭାପତିତ୍ବ କରିଥିଲେ,ଓ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମଚାରୀ ମିଶି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କ୍ରମ‌‌‌ ଟିକୁ ପରିଚାଳନା କରିଥିଲେ ଶେଷରେ ମମତା ମହାପାତ୍ର ସମସ୍ତ ଙ୍କୁ ଶପଥ ପାଠ କରାଇଥିଲେ ଓ ବିକ୍ରମ କେଶରୀ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଅର୍ପଣ କରିଥିଲେ।
