🌱 Field Visit to Farmers’ Demonstration Site under Livelihood Project – Yuva Vikash Kendra 🌾

A dedicated team from Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK) recently visited the Farmers’ Demonstration Field established under our Livelihood Project in Tripura. The visit was an inspiring experience, showcasing the positive impact of sustainable agricultural practices at the grassroots level.

The demonstration field, supported and guided by YVK, is becoming a model for promoting eco-friendly and low-chemical farming techniques. Farmers are successfully cultivating a variety of vegetables such as potato, sweet baby corn, cucumber, and other seasonal crops by minimizing the use of harmful chemicals. Their efforts reflect a strong commitment to safe, healthy, and sustainable food production.

During the visit, the team also interacted with a progressive farmer whose farm stands as an example of innovation and dedication. The exchange of knowledge, practical experiences, and local solutions highlighted how small initiatives can bring big changes in rural livelihoods.

We are proud to witness the confidence and enthusiasm of our farmers who are adopting improved practices, increasing productivity, and moving towards self-reliance. Such field visits strengthen our commitment to empowering farming communities and promoting sustainable livelihood opportunities across Tripura.
