We’re delighted to announce that Dr. Thanos Dokos, Greece’s Secretary General for National Security, will be joining as a keynote speaker at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference, taking place on November 5th in Tel Aviv.

A Cambridge-trained international relations expert, he led Greece’s leading foreign policy think tank, ELIAMEP, for over a decade before becoming National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of hashtag . He has also served on hashtag ’s expert group on the Alliance’s southern neighbourhood.

We look forward to his insights on strategic autonomy and the evolving partnership between Greece and hashtag .

We’re delighted to share that Maj. Gen. (res.) Yacov Amidror will speak at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference on 5 November in Tel Aviv.

Few people have seen Israel’s strategic challenges from as close up. Over more than three decades in the IDF, Yaakov headed the Research and Assessment Division of Military Intelligence and commanded the IDF’s military colleges. He later served as National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and head of the National Security Council from 2011 to 2013.

We look forward to his insights at a pivotal moment for Israel and the region.

We’re delighted to welcome Prof. Sriparna Pathak, PhD, who will be joining us in person from India to speak at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference on 5 November in Tel Aviv.

Sriparna is a Professor of China Studies and founding Director of the Centre for Northeast Asian Studies at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in India. A fluent Mandarin speaker, she spent two years researching China’s domestic economy in Beijing, and has since advised India’s Ministry of External Affairs and represented India in Track II dialogues with China. Her current work focuses on China’s influence operations and its perceptions of the Quad.

At a time when Israel is rethinking its place in the Indo-Pacific, we’re especially excited to have her with us in Tel Aviv. We hope you’ll come meet her!

We’re pleased to welcome Maya Sherman, AI Expert and Project Co-Lead at GPAI-OECD, as a speaker at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference on 5 November in Tel Aviv.

Maya works where artificial intelligence meets diplomacy. She represents Israel as an expert at the OECD’s Global Partnership on AI, where she co-leads an AI literacy project that has reached more than 20,000 people in India’s informal sector, including farmers. Until recently, she served as Israel’s Innovation Attaché in India, building technology partnerships between the two countries’ startup ecosystems. An Oxford Internet Institute graduate, she also sits on the board of the Israeli Association for Ethics in AI.

It’s a pleasure to welcome Dr. Sarah-Masha Fainberg, Senior Researcher and Head of the Great Powers Research Program at Tel Aviv University’s Elrom air and space research center, as a speaker at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference on 5 November in Tel Aviv.

Sarah-Masha’s research focuses on Russian and Chinese involvement in the Middle East and on defense and security in the post-Soviet space. She has served as a Senior Policy Advisor at Israel’s Ministry of Defense and a Research Fellow at INSS, and has held research and teaching posts at Columbia, Georgetown, and Sciences Po.

As great power rivalry increasingly shapes Israel’s strategic environment, we look forward to her insights on what Moscow and Beijing’s ambitions mean for the region.

We’re honored to welcome former Mossad Chief Efraim Halevy as a keynote speaker at SIGNAL Group’s 10th Annual Conference, taking place on November 5th in Tel Aviv.

Few people have shaped Israel’s security and diplomacy from as many vantage points. Efraim joined the hashtag in 1961 and sat on its governing body for 28 years. Before serving as Chief of the Mossad from 1998 to 2002, he was Israel’s Ambassador to the European Union. After his tenure, he became National Security Advisor to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and head of the National Security Council.

Register for SIGNAL Group's 10th Annual Policy Conference!

Ten years ago, conversations about China and the Indo-Pacific felt like they were happening at the margins of Israeli foreign policy. Today, they're at the center. China's expanding footprint in regional tech and infrastructure, shifting U.S. strategic priorities, the rise of IMEC, and the fallout from the Second Iran War have made Israel's Indo-Pacific positioning an urgent practical question.

This year's conference is a chance to step back and ask: what has actually changed, what does Israel need now, and which relationships should it prioritize?

We'll be exploring those questions through closed-door roundtables and public plenary sessions with senior policymakers, diplomats, military officials, business leaders, and leading international experts and officials from Asia the US and Europe.
