A PROUD MOMENT FOR TULLOW & BALLYMURPHY!

On July 24th, the communities of Tullow and Ballymurphy came out in force to show the judges all that our wonderful communities have to offer and, most importantly, to demonstrate just how proud we are of the places we call home. ❤️

This evening, we gathered in Carlow Town Hall to receive certificates of recognition from Carlow County Council in acknowledgement of our participation in this special event. It was a lovely opportunity to reflect on the hard work, community spirit and pride that make our towns and villages such special places to live.

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone in Tullow who came out in force and played their part in making the day such a success! Your time, effort, enthusiasm and pride in our community shone through, and it was fantastic to see so many people coming together for a common cause.

It was also wonderful to see Tullow represented this evening by:
💚 Forward Steps
💚 Bishop’s House
💚 Cairdeas Centre
💚 Tullow Men’s Shed
💚 Tullow Tidy Towns
💚 Develop Tullow Association

Each group plays an important role in making Tullow the vibrant, caring and welcoming community that we are so proud of.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Carlow County Council, our local representatives and everyone who supported, encouraged and helped bring this event together. Your support and recognition of the efforts made by our local communities are greatly appreciated.

Tonight was about more than certificates — it was about recognising the people, organisations and volunteers who give their time and energy to make our communities better places for everyone.

Tullow and Ballymurphy have so much to be proud of, and tonight was another reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together!

Thank you to everyone who played a part. Let’s keep that community spirit alive and continue to show just how special our wonderful towns and villages really are!

EDIT: The Hubcaps have been located !!!! Thanks everyone xx

Over the weekend, hubcaps were taken from the Tullow Youth Project display.

Thankfully, Frank managed to recover five of them, but 6 is still missing. Johnny has searched everywhere, and it appears that someone has taken them.

If anyone has seen them or knows anything about its whereabouts, we’d really appreciate its return. No questions asked – we’d just like to get it back so the display can be made complete again.

Please share this post to help us spread the word. Thank you.
