Laois Men’s Health Awareness Week kicks off this Sunday!

A full programme of events is happening right across the county from outdoor activities and fitness sessions to Men’s Shed gatherings and opportunities to connect. There’s something for everyone, so get involved and support men’s health and wellbeing in your community.

Over 100 pupils from 4 National Schools took part in our event for Bike Week.

The event was a collaboration with Laois County Council and local Community Group Pedal Vintage Durrow

A special thanks to An Garda Síochána Laois/Offaly who supported the event with local Garda and All Ireland Hurling winning captain with Tipperary, Ronan Maher talking to the pupils about the benefits of an active lifestyle and road safety.

With a stacked Week of events there was someone for everyone 🚲

What a wonderful we had with 64 events delivered over 10 days! A massive thank you to all community groups, schools clubs and organisations who delivered events and the 1000's of participants who took part! Keep cycling!

A Teddy Bears Picnic to celebrate Biodiversity Week in Laois for children & families.

A day of learning about Biodiversity, having fun and enjoying the sunshine. 🌳 🦋 🌞

The event was a collaboration between Laois County Council and Laois Public Participation Network

There was a wonderful series of events for Biodiversity Week in Laois co-ordinated by Lisa Doyle, Biodiversity Officer, Laois County Council.
