Newport CFR should receive AIB Community Fund support because it delivers lifesaving emergency care, strengthens rural resilience, and ensures faster response times for cardiac and trauma incidents. Funding will expand training, upgrade vital equipment, and enhance volunteer capacity, directly improving community safety and saving lives.

The AIB Community €1 Million Fund enables customers, the public and our employees to support the local charities that matter most to them, within their region. The Fund supports charities across six regions in Ireland, Northern Ireland & Great Britain.

Our Newport Fire Station is at risk of closing in 2026 — and the reality is simple…
👉 If we don’t act now, we could lose it.

This isn’t just a building — it’s a lifeline.
It’s the people who turn up when alarms go off, when accidents happen, when homes and lives are at risk.

💬 The message is clear:
Tipperary Fire & Rescue Service NEEDS to recruit from our community.

Now is the time to stand up.
