New Bingo format commencing Wednesday 20th May
The support from our Bingo nights means so much to the Scouts Hall and to the wider community. Every euro raised helps us care for and maintain the Scouts Hall, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for everyone. It also plays a vital role in bringing musicals to life each year — something we’re very proud to share with you all. We’ve kept our Bingo games the same for the past 11 years, and we know how much people value that familiar format. However, as times change and costs grow, we do need to make a few updates to keep things running smoothly and ensure the Bingo can continue to thrive for years to come.
With that in mind, we’ll be introducing the few changes below to our Bingo commencing on Wednesday 20th May, which we hope will help keep the experience enjoyable, sustainable, and rewarding for everyone.
Bingo Changes
1. The jackpot (no. of calls) is to increase every 10 weeks from the current 20 weeks. i.e. The current Jackpot is €2,250 in 46 numbers or less and this will go to 47 numbers in 5 weeks’ time and increase by 1 number every 10 weeks after that.
2. The 4 panel Book (small) will be re-introduced at a price of €5.00
3. The new price structure will be as follows:
• 12 Panel Book (double) €13.00
• 6 Panel Book (single) €7.00
• Loose Jackpot/Fliers – no price change. (€2.00 each or 3 for €5.00 ….. €7.00 for 4 etc)
• Split the Bucket no change. (€2.00 each or 3 for €5.00)
4. The weekly prize amount will increase by €230 from Wednesday 20th May 2026.
5. In total we play 13 games with base prize money of £2,060.

We want to keep our Bingo nights lively, growing, and full of great prizes for everyone and in this context we are looking for your help. The more people who come along, the bigger and better the experience becomes — and that means even more exciting prize funds in the future! Why not bring a friend, a neighbour, or a family member along for a fun night out? You could even make it a regular social evening with your group — a chance to catch up, have a laugh, and maybe win a prize or two. Spreading the word makes a real difference, whether it’s a quick chat, a message, or inviting someone new to join you. Think about inviting a club, a work group, or even organising a small outing — Bingo is a great excuse to get people together. Every new face helps the Scouts Hall build the atmosphere and keeps the night thriving for everyone.
