Hello extended McCormack / McCormick family.

Some wonderful news. Our beloved family member CLARE CARUSI  TURNS THE MAGNIFICENT AGE OF 90 ON 14TH OF APRIL THIS YEAR.

Clare does not want a party. However, she does love a chat or to read beautiful cards so should anyone wish to phone her, you can reach her on (07) 3268 2743. Those who like the more personal touch and who still use letterboxes, you might like to send a lovely card to her at 431 Kilgin Road, Kilgin NSW 2472.

Tony has agreed to deliver them to Clare. And below are some photos the family have asked us to share. Joanne and Clare went on a South Pacific Island cruise last year and loved it.

I thought I had better get this in before the year finished.
In June this year Margaret and John Drew celebrated their Diamond Wedding Anniversary! 60 years strong.
A wonderful luncheon with friends and family arranged by their amazing children.
Guests came from Adelaide, Melbourne, far South Coast, Hunter Valley as well as locally.
A great weekend had by all.

Always happy to share photos of other family events if anyone wishes to send them through, please . What a great kilt, beautiful design Paul.

Here’s a photo of Paul Wiedorn, Macushla’s husband, marching in the Scottish Walk parade in Alexandria, Virginia on Saturday. Paul is wearing a kilt with a tartan pattern he designed in the colors of the Maryland flag. Although Cush and Paul live in Florida now, they have deep affection to Maryland where they lived for many years. They were in the D.C. area over the last few days for the internment of Paul’s mother Clare at Arlington National Cemetery, where he husband Al was buried previously.

I’ve been asked to post this on behalf of the Carusi family and I’m more than happy to do this. They do not have current addresses of the family and thought this would be the simplest way to pass on their condolences.

Sending our sympathy to the Healy and Yeo families. We enjoyed Nita’s singing at the Woodburn Reunion. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Love Clare, Tony and Joanne Carusi.

Our beloved cousin Clare and her daughter Joanne Carusi have asked us to notify the family of the passing of a very good friend, Daphne Hall, who lived in Brisbane .
She was the sister of Tom Davis who married Phyllis Bridget McCormack .
Daphne visited Woodburn quite often and stayed with Clare on many occasions. She loved hearing all the stories of all the different branches of the families and had a keen interest in the McCormack clan. 
If you go to the book The McCormacks From Nenagh Tipperary on page eighty one there is quite a lot of information on Phyllis .
Daphne passed away peacefully on Sunday second of November 2025 and will be very much missed.
