It is a fun, festive project supported by many local businesses and a team of wonderful volunteers and artists. Fairytale of Dundalk began its roots in 2015 as a Christmas concert and has raised almost €40,000 for North Louth Hospice over the last 5 events. This success of this project is credited to the fantastic artists who perform at our show, the generous donations and sponsorship from local b
usinesses and politicians, the enthusiasm and dedication of the team behind Fairytale of Dundalk and most importantly, the support of those who buy tickets to our shows. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of hosting prolific acts at our concert. These include Zoë Conway & John McIntyre, David Keenan, Jim Corr, The Fureys, Bagatelle and The 4 of Us. We are lucky to live in area which thrives with artistic talent, and many local performers have participated in our annual shows including Cúchulainn Celtic Strings, D Strings, Scoil Rince Uí Chonghaile, Clermont Chorale, Aoife Erraught, The Long Riders, Scale Force, Céilí Phillips The Decades, DKIT Dance Society, Malone Dance Academy, Philip Kirk, Paul Bailey, Seán McGeeney, Seán O'Brien, Sunshine Souls Samba and many more!
