Bóthar were happy to partner on the Kwigira project with Ripple Effect. Aligned to our primary object this project is based in the area of Rwanda where our donors have previously made an impact with shipments of livestock. Now we reinforce this with a focus on This project represents continous investment in sustainable farming practices and community strenghtening.

Creating a Buzz with Bóthar 🐝
An update on our International Women’s Day 2026 ( ) project. Bóthar through our partner NGO Meshqerra (Ozhr Meshqerra) distributed essential beekeeping equipment to 31 women beekeepers in Kosovo.
While 30 women were initially selected, their cooperation and careful purchasing enabled them to secure 31 beekeeping kits—allowing one additional farmer, one additional family, to benefit from this support. Making a bigger impact.
The event on Friday 5th June was attended by the Mayor of Deçan, representatives from the Directorate of Agriculture, and the Chairwoman of the Beekeepers’ Association “Aldi”, demonstrating strong local support for women farmers.
To our Irish donors—this isn’t just our work, it’s your impact in action. You made this happen. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir/Thank you all.💚
