Fermoy Scout Group took to the water at Knockananig Reservoir for our highly anticipated Annual Splash Day.

Our Beavers and Cubs jumped straight into their boats, eager to learn and ready for adventure.

This incredible day wouldn't be possible without our dedicated Scouters. A huge, heartfelt thank you goes out to the Scouters who volunteer their time year after year to make Splash Day happen.
We are incredibly grateful for everything you do!

We are so incredibly proud of our 2 patrols that took part in the All Cork County Shield this weekend. A true testament to the amount of talent within the group as they go forward to Phoenix Challenge again this year.

Two of our most dedicated Scouters, John Fitzgerald and Claire Buckley also received their Bronze Merit award for outstanding contribution to Scouting from Provincial Commissioner Ursula Cosgrove. Well deserved.

Our Scouts joined friends from across the county over the weekend to take part in the County Mountain Challenge, enjoying a challenging hike up and around Cush followed by an overnight camp. It was a fantastic experience of adventure, teamwork and resilience for everyone involved.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the weekend such a safe and successful event. In particular, we are very grateful to Fermoy Scout Group Scouters Ciara, Rory and Dave for giving their time, support and expertise to make it happen. Your dedication makes these opportunities possible for our young people.

What a fantastic weekend of adventure for Fermoy Scout Group.

Our young people were out and about across Ireland โ€” and even the Alps โ€” taking part in brilliant outdoor and community scouting experiences.

Beavers had a wonderful day at the County Urban Day in Glanworth, meeting other groups and taking part in fun activities.

Cubs enjoyed an overnight adventure in Kilcully House, packed with games and outdoor activities. A campfire, new songs, shared meals, and sleeping away from home made it a memorable experience.

Ventures headed for the hills to take part in the Leinster Mountain Havoc in Lough Dan, putting their navigation, teamwork, and endurance to the test in the Wicklow Mountains.

Meanwhile, Venture รine is enjoying the full ski-snow life while volunteering at the world-famous Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland โ€” an amazing international scouting experience in the heart of the Alps.

Scouts also met this weekend to prepare for their upcoming County Mountain Challenge, brushing up on navigation, planning, and teamwork ahead of next weekโ€™s event.

A huge thank you to all the volunteer Scouters and parents who make these opportunities possible.
