Pictured in the Offaly topic is our Boxer Kevin Tyrell handing over a donation from Unite Trade Union to our Coach Martin O'Reilly. Many thanks to all at Unite for the generous donation that was gratefully received. We have had numerous enquiries asking when boxing will resume. As per the below we will be starting back the end of August, keep an eye on the page for more information. To answer some questions our boxing club is for boys and girls aged 8 and older with two sessions Monday and Wednesdays - one for our younger members from half 6 to half 7 and older children from half 7 to quarter to 9. We look forward to seeing all our returning members and new members are always welcome 🥊🥊

A massive thank you to our Club Member Tommy Moore, his dad Darren and all in Westmeath & District Motorclub for their generous donation of €250. Tommy collected the money for St.Joseph's Boxing Club at Round 2 of the National Loose surface Autocross in Walsh’s sandpit Broadford, Co. Kildare. A massive Well done to Madalina on her win at the Portimao Box Cup this weekend. The future is bright for this super star. We now take a well deserved break for the summer and look forward to what's in store for all our boxers when we return after the break. We want to wish our boxer Madalina and coach John Kelly the very best of luck in the Portima Box Cup in Portimao this weekend. Maddie's determination to the sport of boxing is to be admired and she is an inspiration to us all in St.Joseph's. Unfortunately our boxer Abbie cannot make the trip due to injury. We wish her a speedy recovery and a quick return to the ring 🥊🙌
