🌟 A great day today exploring Ulster University, Belfast 🎓 and seeing the amazing Art Graduate Showcase 🎨, marking the end of another fantastic Breaking Borders project! 🙌

Over the course of two residentials in Annalong🌊 and Galway 🌿, young people from Amplify Louth , Craobh Rua, Lagmore Youth Project and Aspire2Achieve - Bespoke Services Ltd came together to learn 📚, share experiences 💬 and build positive friendships 🤝 across communities.

The programme included workshops on relationships ❤️ and active consent ✋, delivered by University of Galway and Ulster University. It was great to see so much engagement 🌟, personal growth 🌱 and new connections 🔗 being made throughout the project.

The project concluded with a visit to Ulster University 🎓, where participants had the opportunity to explore the campus 🏫 and experience the incredible creativity and talent 🎨✨ showcased by the university’s art students. It was an inspiring way to finish the programme and celebrate everything the young people had achieved together 🎉👏.

This is exactly what cross-border projects are all about 🌍 bringing young people together 🤝, breaking down barriers 🧱➡️🌉 and creating opportunities for understanding 💡 respect 💙 and lasting friendships 🫶.

Many thanks to University of Galway and Ulster University 🙏 for their support, expertise and delivery of the workshops, which added so much value to the experience for all involved.

A huge thank you also to Falls Community Council 💜 and Shared Island Funding for making this opportunity possible and supporting such valuable work with young people 🌟.
