Empower Empower is the local development organisation for Fingal. We support people in the areas of Community Development, Employment, Training & Health Promotion.

We are responsibile for identifying, and responding to, local needs through consultation and by working with community groups. Our Board of Direct

ors includes a wide range of community, statutory and social partner representatives, together with three local elected representatives and nominees of Fingal County Council and the Fingal Enterprise Board. Major programme funding is provided from the Exchequer through the Local and Community Development Programme (funded by the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government through POBAL) and the Local Employment Service (funded by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through FÁS).

Empower invites you to join our upcoming ‘Baby Food Made Easy’ workshop. It is FREE and is delivered every month, online by HSE Community Dietitians.

Workshops are aimed at parents who are starting or thinking about starting weaning and would like to get more information and have their questions answered. The workshop will also include some food safety information and a cookery demonstration.

Join us this month on Tuesday 26th May 2026 from 10:00am-11:30am.
