A call has been issued for expressions of interest for membership of the HSE West North West Cancer Patient Advisory Group.
The group brings together patients, family members, carers and HSE staff to help plan and improve cancer services across the region. They are currently seeking to recruit four new members and would particularly welcome applications from people with lived experience of cancer, either as a patient, family member or carer.

We are holding our annual flag day collections in Ballyhaunis, Ballinrobe and Claremorris today and Church Gate Collections throughout the Castlebar area.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – MAYO CANCER SUPPORT

Mayo Cancer Support is holding a Church Gate Collection across the greater Castlebar area on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th October – and they need volunteers to help make it happen.

Could you spare a few hours?

Volunteers are needed to help with collections at either Saturday evening Vigil Masses or Sunday morning Masses in:

A PhD Candidate in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Trinity College is currently recruiting people who have received or are receiving CAR-T therapy for lymphoma, leukaemia or myeloma to take part in a study exploring the experiences of adults who have received CAR-T therapy for a blood cancer diagnosis. Today, Saturday, September 12th, we are holding our annual flag day collection in Westport, to help fund the free emotional and psychological support we provide to people impacted by cancer.
Did you know we are dependent on fundraising to cover up to 50% of our annual operating costs?

We're in beautiful Ballina today where we operate a weekly outreach service at the Turning Tides Wellness Centre at The Quay, offering free complementary therapies and counselling to cancer patients/survivors and their loved ones as well as anyone bereaved as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
