Delighted to welcome our wonderful friend and supporter, Kathleen McGuire, to Rock Rose House today where she presented us with an incredible €1100 that she raised through participating in the West of Ireland Women's Mini Marathon earlier this month. Kathleen has participated in this event in aid of Mayo Cancer Support for many many years, raising thousands of Euro to support our services along the way. We are so grateful to her. Kathleen and all the team at Mayo Cancer Support would like to thank the community of Islandeady for always supporting her fundraising so generously.

Introducing a new cancer support organisation - Cancer Take a Hike! - a supportive hiking community created by and for people affected by cancer to provide a safe, welcoming space where people can move at their own pace, share gentle companionship and feel a sense of accomplishment, while reconnecting with nature and movement.
As cancer is not a path we walk alone, friends and loved ones are welcome to join in these hikes too!
See the accompanying infographic for details of upcoming hikes. For more information email [email protected] or follow Cancer Take A HIke on Instagram at www.instagram.com/cancertakeahike
