🎶☕ This great community initiative is taking place today at Cryan's Teach Ceoil.
The first Music Café, organised in association with Dementia Inclusive Communities and Understand Together, takes place from 2pm–3pm.
Pop in for an hour and enjoy some music, a cuppa, cake, and good company.
Everyone is welcome! 🎵🍰☕

Join us for a cup of tea and cake at 'Music Café' with music by Frank Feary at 2pm on Wednesday.
All welcome to the café which is supported by dementia inclusive communities.

Concerns have been raised by local residents about night-time noise caused by vehicles circulating in the town, including unnecessary engine revving.
Carrick-on-Shannon is a proud Purple Flag town, recognised for a safe and welcoming night-time economy. Maintaining this standard requires respect and consideration for residents, visitors and businesses.
Such noise is not in keeping with a shared and respectful town environment, and relevant authorities should consider appropriate awareness, monitoring and enforcement of existing regulations where necessary.

They start circling the town around 10pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights - and continue until around 4am.
