Who remembers these businesses in Ballyhaunis?

Thanks to Billy Lyons for a delightful collection of old shop receipts and invoices from businesses in Ballyhaunis and beyond, which will be a wonderful addition to the Windows into History project about rural shops underway by the genealogy group.

The group will meet again on Tues, June 9th, at 7.30pm in the Ballyhaunis Community Hall (F35Y337).

If you are interested in learning more about the project or have a story to share please join us on Tuesday evening.

Our next bicycle repair clinic is on June 20th at the Community Hall. We start at 09.00 with a teaching session and then from 10-12.30 it's general repairs. We encourage you to bring your bicycle and we'll show you how to repair it. We ask a donation to cover the cost of the parts we put into the repair. We will also be selling cycles that day. Let us know if you're coming and what the issue with your bicycle is so we are prepared. We are always happy to welcome new volunteers to our team.
