FIELD DAY UPDATE🎉

On Sunday the 16th of August last, it was wonderful to see the community of Adamstown come together for our Annual Field Day.
Thanks to the incredible organisers and volunteers, our sports clubs, local businesses, sponsors and everyone who attended on the day. An amazing €5,401.9 was raised.👏

Built in 1980 as a sports complex and meeting place for everyone, Adamstown Community Centre has served generations of our community. It costs over €12,000 annually just to keep the lights on and the doors open and this is before maintenance or any additional costs. Fundraising keeps the bills paid. We are a small and hardworking committee of Volunteers and we genuinely need the support of the wider community.

Our AGM will be held this year, the date is to be confirmed, and everyone is welcome to get involved. We are lucky to have this wonderful facility in our parish and hopefully it will be here for generations to come.

Planning Permission Approved!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that planning permission has been officially approved for our development project in Newbawn! 💙💛

This is another major milestone in our Grassroots to Greatness Development Plan and further strengthens our position as we prepare to submit our grant application in the coming weeks.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the project so far. Your encouragement, generosity and belief in what we're building has helped us reach this point.
