We, the Redmond family would like to invite you to our One Off Patchwork Exhibition.
Kathleen our mother has 80 years of patchwork experience to her name.
You will be treated to 100s of items on display. Old and new hand crafted patchwork quilts, wall hangings, cushions, decorations, you name it will be displayed.
Come along and meet Kathleen, enjoy viewing the work on display along with refreshments served afterwards.
All we ask on the day is a small donation toward Breast Cancer
Ireland.

The Pillar Womens Group (based in Newbawn Hall) invite you to view our work. We have recently been taught mosaic art and this was funded by Wexford County Council, under the 'artist in the community' project. Elke Williams is a talented mosaic artist from Gorey who took us through the art of mosaic making from a simple tile to a 6ft mosaic of the 'Pillar' monument in Carrigbyrne. We are very happy to leave our mark on our community in the form of our mosaic, grateful to Newbawn Parish Committee for allowing us to do this and also grateful to Wexford County Council for funding this satisfying project.
We ask you to have a look at our work in the outside patio area of the hall, the next time you are passing!

IMPORTANT PARISH NOTICE

Wishing Fr John every good wish in his new appointment in New Ross. He has been such an important part of the Glynn-Barntown community for nearly 20 years and has always been there for people through both the good times and the difficult times. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Fr John’s farewell Mass will take place this Friday at 7pm in Barntown, with tea and refreshments afterwards in the school hall. The Mass will also be broadcast live for anyone unable to attend in person.

Thank you, Fr John, for your friendship, kindness and service to our parish over the years. The parish will certainly be a different place without you. Wishing you every happiness and success in your new appointment. You will be sorely missed. 🙏
