A Night on the Danube That Changed Lives

As the lights of Budapest reflected on the waters of the Danube and the beautiful Diva Boat sailed through the heart of the city, something truly special happened.

The Budapest Business Party on the Boat was much more than a networking event. It became an evening of generosity, compassion, and hope.

Members of Rotary Club Budapest CITY joined business leaders, entrepreneurs, and friends who came together with one common goal: to support the Láthatatlan Iskola - Invisible School Summer Camp. 💙

For many children growing up in difficult circumstances, summer is not filled with adventures, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Through the work of Invisible School, these children are given opportunities they might never otherwise experience—friendship, learning, confidence, and the simple joy of being a child.

Throughout the evening, we shared stories, connected with inspiring people, and witnessed how a community can unite for a meaningful cause. Every conversation, every smile, and every donation brought us one step closer to making this summer camp a reality for the children who need it most.

The generosity shown on board was truly heartwarming, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed.

Yet our mission is not over.

Egy évszázad tapasztalata és elkötelezettsége áll mögöttünk.
Ma, a Föld világnapja emlékeztet minket embereket arra, hogy mindannyian ugyanahhoz a csodálatos világhoz tartozunk.
A Magyar Rotary közössége ezt az összetartozást a tetteiben mutatja meg.
JÓSZOLGÁLAT, BARÁTSÁG, TISZTESSÉG, FELELŐSSÉG.

Ezek az értékek száz éve irányt mutatnak.
Ott vannak minden olyan kezdeményezésben, ahol egy közösség erősebbé válik,
ahol egy gyermek több esélyt kap,
ahol egy település élhetőbbé lesz, ahol az egészségmegőrzés közös felelősségé emelkedik,
és ahol a természet megőrzése közös üggyé válik.

Jószolgálatunk megjelennek a vizeink védelmében, a közösségi terek megújulásában,és abban a figyelemben is, amellyel az emberek egészségére fordítunk.

Tonight we enjoyed a very relaxed dinner with District Governor Molnàr and Assistant District Governor Pálvölgyi along with some of our Budapest based members. We shared the progress of our projects and shared some new perspectives about our unique international Rotary Club of Budapest-City. Thank you all for attending. 💙🌏🌿
