Predstavnice iz Hrvatske sudjelovale su u ime projektnog partnera Festivala tolerancije na međunarodnom susretu “Unity in Diversity: The Bârlad Experience”, održanom od 15. do 17. svibnja 2026. u Bârladu u Rumunjskoj, u sklopu projekta Sound of Diversity.
Program je okupio europske projektne partnere kroz radionice, razgovore i kulturna događanja posvećena uključivosti, interkulturalnom dijalogu, borbi protiv diskriminacije i jačanju lokalnih zajednica koje promiču različitost.
Susret je bio povezan s 40. izdanjem Bârlad Cultural Days, važnim kulturnim događanjem lokalne zajednice, koje je dodatno naglasilo ulogu kulture, umjetnosti i obrazovanja u povezivanju ljudi i stvaranju otvorenijih društava.
Projekt Sound of Diversity okuplja europske partnere oko zajedničkog cilja: jačanja tolerancije, ravnopravnosti, pripadanja i poštovanja različitosti u lokalnim zajednicama. Projekt se provodi uz podršku programa CERV – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Europske unije.
Ponosni smo što je Festival tolerancije, kao projektni partner, dio ove važne europske mreže koja kroz kulturu i dijalog doprinosi stvaranju uključivijih zajednica.
Representatives from Croatia took part on behalf of the project partner Festival of Tolerance in the international meeting “Unity in Diversity: The Bârlad Experience”, held from 15 to 17 May 2026 in Bârlad, Romania, as part of the Sound of Diversity project.
The programme brought together European project partners through workshops, discussions and cultural events dedicated to inclusion, intercultural dialogue, combating discrimination, and strengthening local communities that promote diversity.
The meeting was connected to the 40th edition of Bârlad Cultural Days, an important cultural event for the local community, further highlighting the role of culture, art and education in bringing people together and building more open societies.
The Sound of Diversity project brings together European partners around a shared goal: strengthening tolerance, equality, belonging and respect for diversity in local communities. The project is supported by the European Union’s CERV – Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme.
We are proud that the Festival of Tolerance, as a project partner, is part of this important European network, which contributes to building more inclusive communities through culture and dialogue.
