✨ Voices from Thessaloniki! ✨

We are so proud to share the reflections of our Estonian team from "Beyond Words; The Art of Critical Thinking", the youth exchange we coordinated right here in Thessaloniki, Greece 🇬🇷

What started as a programme of workshops on critical thinking became something much bigger! New friendships across borders, moments of self-discovery and a reminder of why changes lives.

Hear it straight from the participants:

💬 Elizabeth: "This youth exchange has proved me once again that Erasmus is an addiction that everyone should try at least once."

💬 Anni: "This has been one of the best times of my life."

This beautiful flower says it all! 6 countries, one shared vision!

This April in Thessaloniki, young people from across Europe came together for our Erasmus+ youth exchange project "Beyond Words; The Art of Critical Thinking" and crafted this flower as a symbol of unity, diversity and the power of connection that goes beyond language.

On , we are reminded that Europe is not just a map it's the people, the friendships, and the conversations that bloom when we come together.

🎭✨ Beyond Words; The Art of Critical Thinking ✨🎭 A Youth Exchange Story 👍

🇬🇷Thessaloniki, Greece. 10 days. 6 countries. Countless memories.

Young people from 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇳🇱 Netherlands, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇹🇷 Türkiye and 🇪🇪 Estonia landed in the most beautiful city in the north, welcomed with open arms by , and nothing was ever the same again. 🫶

For 10 days, we questioned everything. We communicated without barriers. We challenged our assumptions, picked up cameras, wrote scenarios, laughed until it hurt, cried a little (okay, more than a little 😭), and finally we performed. On a real stage. With our hearts wide open. 🎬📸

Through non-formal education, the THEATRE method, debating, video making, photography and storytelling, our young participants didn't just learn about critical thinking, they lived it.

And in between all that? 🫒 Greek food that changed lives. Late nights out in Thessaloniki. Sunsets, secrets, inside jokes that will never fully translate. New friendships that feel like they've existed forever. Collaborations that are just getting started.

🤝This is what happens when you bring people together across borders and give them space to think, create, and just be.

✨Final recap from Thessaloniki 🇬🇷✨

It has been a true pleasure to host the team from Asociatia Pro Democratia Buzau over the past 6 days, here in Thessaloniki, for an inspiring job shadowing mobility in adult education, organised by INNOVIERA.

Throughout the week, participants explored innovative approaches to adult learning, with a strong focus on digitalisation and interactive tools. On the final day, working in two groups, they developed and presented concrete plans for integrating digital tools into their training activities for vulnerable adults, using Canva to bring their ideas to life.

We closed this meaningful journey with a final Q&A session, reflections and the awarding of Certificates of Participation and Europass Mobility Documents.

Beyond the learning outcomes, this mobility was about connection, exchange and inspiration. New partnerships were strengthened, friendships were built and future collaborations are already on the horizon.

A heartfelt thank you to ANPCDEFP and the Erasmus+ programme for making this experience possible.
